Two Bedroom Apartment at the Beach, Zihuatanejo, Mexico

This is a beautiful 2 bedroom apartment on the first level. It is decorated Mexicn style and is all air conditioned. It is well lighted withn lots of windows. There is a fully equipeed kitchen , a master bedroom w/king bed and another bedroom with 2 twin beds(can be made into a king) . There is a large dining / living area . There is a beautiful very large patio in the back of the casita with a sitting area and a dining area for entertaining and Bar B Q .This Casita is located on the most desirable street at Playa Madera. It is close to the "restaurant row" with good restaurants., The walk into town is about 15 minutes where there are more restaurants and many shops.
The beach is beautiful and it is a bay. There is a new beautiful walkway along the beach and it is well lighted at night for strolling. There is also an awesome walkway completed recently along the beach in the town area. This is a fishing village and there is a fishing pier at one end of the beach where you can buy fresh fish daily or go deep sea fishing.
A great place for a beach stay!
This property is located very close to the PICKLE BALL COURT. In fact, you can see the court from the oputside patio and rear windows...and it is within walking distance.

The little casa by the beach was wonderful. Everything about the place is as advertised, and even better. Very well air conditioned for those 100 deg days! Easy Walking distance to more wonderful restaurants than one could possibly eat at..

The location was perfect. It was down a nice quiet street with a beautiful view of the city out of the kitchen window. The bedrooms had shutters that kept the rooms, very dark for a great sleep. It was less than a two minute walk to the Madero beach and 10 minutes to the local fresh market and many very good restaurants, including la Perla Negra and el Vado. You could walk side streets up to La Ropa Beach then along it around to along Las gatas beach. If you walk the other direction, there’s market, beach front restaurants and many shops and banks.The location was wonderful and quiet. The rental was cute.Unlike other rentals, there was no spices left behind from previous renters, Left some salt for you :) There was coffee and coffee filters and water :). Marcaría was there to greet us and was easy to get a hold of. I would’ve liked an indoor broom and a potato peel. We had a great stay. Thank you

Enjoyable Stay

This is a charming unit. Clean, spacious, and the location is very desirable. There is a nice outdoor patio / sitting space with a few outdoor couches. Washer and dryer onsite. The owner and property manager are responsive and attentive. Would definitely go back.

These were wonderful guests, polite , kind and a pleasure to have stay with us. They were concerned about the WiFi not working in the bedrooms....with Mega Cable, a Mexican Company, we are thankful that it works well in the kitchen, dinning and living rooms.,.....we would like it to work in all the rooms, but it is what it is here with Mega Cable....we strive hard to make this a grreat place to stay and most guests are happy with the WiFi ......and with the great location and the beautifl casita and patio.

Great Place Near Playa La Madera

It’s a great apartment, even better than we expected. Very clean, with comfortable beds, good water pressure in the showers, and bottled water was included so we didn’t need to buy any. Love the decor. Very cozy. Jacquie and Macario were very nice and helpful. Jacquie even brought us a bowl of mangoes one day. Would stay there again.

Positive Experience

This was our first VRBO experience and it was positive. The property was exactly as advertised. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The location is excellent being only a short walk to the beach, tons of restaurants, and/or into Centro. Jacquie and Marcario are excellent hosts and were friendly and helpful.

Comfortable Apartment

The property's best attribute is its location. It sits in-between the beach and the town at the top of a ridge. Both the beach and the town deserve equal time exploring. Wonderful town and even better beach. The bedroom and baths were very good. The kitchen was very good. The dining room was very good. The living room furniture could be more comfortable. All and all it was a good stay.

Nice apartment, great hosts, poor location, difficult access

Lovely, clean apartment. Hosts were exceptionally accommodating. No ocean view as stated. Hardly any sky view. Dark little apartment on a steep back street making ocean access difficult, many steep steps to the beach. Macario's hospitality made it almost worth it.

We do not advertise an ocean view. We are on the beach street, a very short walk to the stairway on the beach. She was told this before she booked. The beach is all restaurants...not places to stay on the beach. Everyone has to walk down the stairs. It is not a dark apartment and the street in not steep...WHEN SHE ARRIVED SHE SAID HER BOYFRIEND DROPPED HER AND DID NOT ACCOMPANY HER.......WE FELT SORRY FOR HER.so her apartment was not rented for the week after she was to leave and we offered her a FREE stay for another7 nights...so I guess things could not have been so bad.. ..and while she was here she never thanked us for the 7 night FEE STAY...something wrong with this woman,.......ungrateful and rude, that is what it is..... (please refer to our 5 star reviews and be assured that this a great place to stay, lovely apartment in a great location) Jacquie

Great location, lovely apartment

Just as listed. Clean and comfortable. Kitchen comes with everything you need. Beach chairs and umbrellas to bring on your one minute walk to Playa Madera. Patio overlooks the city of Zihau. Property manager can bring 5 gallon jugs of water for your use at a low price. Means you don’t have to haul water around. Quick walk to restaurants and downtown. Given the concrete walls, you get wifi in the dining room/living room/kitchen but no where else. Wifi on the patio.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Zihuatanejo. From our first communication to checkout, Jackie was very responsive. When in Zihuatanejo, Macario checked in with us frequently and answered all of our questions. He even brought us a BBQ grill - so very attentive. The property is in a great location; close to the beach, the market, and the centro. The kitchen was fully stocked, and we really appreciated the water, beach chairs, and umbrellas. We would definately stay at the property again.

I have been in the B&B and vacation rental business for over 20 years. I had one of the top B & B's on the Bucks County, PA. area for 12 years and still do VRBO rentals there now. I owned a three apartment building in San Miguel de Allende , Mexico for the past seven years until I solf it this year. So, now I am at the beach in Zihuatanejo, Mexico. It is my goal to provide excellent vacation stays to my guests.

Why they chose this property

I bought this property because of the excellent location and because the property is an exceptional one with three apartments. This was property was in need of a renovation to bring it up to current standards and that is what I have done......beautiful!

What makes this property unique

The property is locared at one of the most unique beaches in Mexico...Playa La Maders is a bay. Because it is a bay, the wave are small and the water is always warm. This was once a big fishing village and there is still a fishing pier at the one end of the beach where you can buy fresh fish every day and book a boat for deep sea fishing. A beautufl place!
NEWS FLASH!!! The New York Times has rates Zihuatanejo as one of the top five places to visit in 2022.
