Sweet little bungalow, close to the beach and to town. It had everything we needed for our anniversary getaway and it was so lovely having coffee on their beautiful back porch every morning. Can’t wait to go back!
Perfect cottage in a beautiful location, walkable and quiet neighborhood. We had everything we needed and great outdoor spaces too. I would highly recommend this house. It provided a welcoming respite for myself and a lifelong friend.
This cottage far exceeded our expectations. The home is charming and the perfect size for 2 adults. The amenities don’t disappoint either. They have everything you need to make your stay comfortable, Joelle checked in with us to make sure of it. Perfect, perfect, and perfect!
Cottage was very clean. Hosts were terrific. It is small but cozy. TV placement is awkward but understandable given the space. Great outdoors area with great places to eat. Thanks for a great stay with family.
Great location, very close to the beach. Comfortable beds. Nice kitchen, well stocked and appointed. Really appreciated the covered patio. Friendly and communicative hosts, responding to our questions immediately. Highly recommended!
This is the second time we have stayed in Joelle and David's cottage and both times have been very enjoyable. The cottage is clean and very well maintained. We did have one problem with the plumbing in the kitchen sink while we were there but David had someone out right away and had it taken care of. The location is quiet and very convenient to down town and the coast.

The stay was wonderful except for a construction crew using our side of the house for an entry/exit way.Small potatoes when you realize the beauty of the surrounding area and close proximity to S.F. area. Our family would like to return someday soon.

Warm regards,
Great hosts, very charming cottage tastefully furnished and decorated, close to beach , responsive hosts, we had sunny days to be out on the deck and drove to other beaches beside the one down the street, Miramar you can walk on and no one else was there, 7 mi. north. Fabulous library, It's Italia nice restaurant, lemon pizza delish.
We had a wonderful stay at the beach bungalow. The property was immaculate and very close to the trail that leads out to the beach. The deck and awning were inviting and we spent a great deal of time outdoors enjoying the peace and quiet. The bungalow had everthing we needed for a restful stay. While the bathroom is tight it worked well for us. Th neighborhood was quiet and had large manicured homes. Lovely property.

Thank you Sue! We were delighted that you were able to come and glad you could stay an extra night! Thank you for leaving the house in such pristine condition. Come back anytime, we will be delighted to have you!
When you pull up to the house, you know this is going to be a lovely place. And then you open the front door to a remodeled vintage cottage- well- appointed with art, ceramics and furniture right out of a modern French magazine. Absolutely gorgeous, but it's not precious and is extremely comfortable, including the beautiful deck off the dining room. Loved puttering into the kitchen to make coffees and teas and just milling around the house in between our excursions. The home is centrally located, just a hop from the beach and downtown half Moon Bay. A really really special place and location. Home is well stocked with living needs- just add groceries (although she leaves some lovely coffee and teas for you). We will definitely be back!!

About the host
Hosted by Joelle Dussuyer, David Jerome
Joelle is a Parisian living in San Francisco for the past 39 years. David is a transplanted New Yorker. For the past 15 years, while maintaining their respective careers, we have owned and managed two lovely apartments in Paris. This past year, wanting a house centrally located between our three children in San Francisco and Palo Alto, we decided to trade Paris for Half Moon Bay and create a refuge for us and our families. Until we retire sometime in the near future, we are sharing our house with you.
