Waterville USA, the Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo, Pirate's Island Adventure Golf, and dozens of other family attractions await all along Highway 59, and Gulf State Park - a wonderful spot for strolling, jogging, and bike riding - is only half a mile east. If you're a golfer, the Craft Farms Golf Club is five miles north and the Peninsula Golf & Racquet Club is seven miles west. You'll be within walking distance of Sea-N-Suds, The Hangout Gulf Shores, and a variety of other shops, restaurants, and nightlife, and an easy drive from Big Wave Dave's, The Flying Harpoon 2, and The Flora-Bama.
