Very clean, comfortable and well appointed. The beds were very comfortable and towels, linen and kitchen felt fresh and nice. The only problem is the teeny, tiny bathroom and teeny, tiny commode. I imagine it's difficult to to fit into or get up out of for hefty or mobility challenged folks. That said, the bath was sparkling clean and towels soft and fresh smelling.

Gracious and communicative host. Lovely cottage, very clean, and comfortable with a well kept yard. The outdoor deck has plenty of seating, with a great view of the lake. The dock was great for our fishing boat and provided opportunities for all types of water activities. Nice kitchen and convenient appliances. Overall a great Cabin for a fun and memorable vacation

We stayed at this cottage for 3 weeks. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was so nice to sit out on the deck and watch all of the ducks, geese and Mergansers swim by with their babies in tow. We even had a doe and two fawns walk by the cottage and walk out to a small island just off of the beach and then disappear into the trees. The sunrise over Long Lake is spectacular. Lots to explore around the area. Alpena is a neat town with much maritime history. The cottage was clean and well stocked with cooking and kitchen utensils. Ryan was attentive to our needs and checked to see if we needed anything. Again, we enjoyed our stay very much.Andy and Jackie R.

A great little spot for a weekend getaway! The cabin was very clean, strong internet access, and well stocked with kitchen amenities. The neighbors were quiet and the lake was very clean. We had a wonderful stay and would be happy to stay again!

A beautiful property and location!

I will say our stay was perfect. The cabin was great and the lake magnificent! The fall colors were at peak and breathtaking. We all had a great time and look forward to going back!!

Quiet place

Very nice and quite place. Its very simple also which is nice. It is hidden off the main road and the whole neighborhood is very nice. Owners are helpful and responsive. Was able to enjoy our self and still be comfortable.
