We enjoyed 2 nights at this beautiful home. We only cooked breakfasts here and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable. And we even got to see some chipmunks! Thanks Jimmie!

We loved this cabin! It was just right for our family of four, cozy and perfectly spooky at night! The host stayed in touch about possible hot tub issues but we had no problems. Thanks for sharing, guys!

The hosts were very polite and assured everything was great and that our vacation was very enjoyable. The cabin was beautiful, comfortable and clean. We would definitely recommend it and would like to book this one again sometime.

This cozy little cabin by the lake was very easy to find, very well maintained and the host was very communicative and pleasant. There was a well stocked kitchen, ample towels and linens and a water dispenser for drinking water. The AC worked very well and kept the cabin cool in the heat. The area is remote, so there is limited internet and cell service, but sufficient to make calls and sometimes send texts. (But isn’t that the point of getting away anyway?) A caution that the driveway is rather steep and has a U turn at the top. There are several spots for parking a boat, but if you have a big truck and long boat it’s a bit of a tight squeeze. If you are fishing there are tons of opportunities - the Stonewall Jackson Lake launch is only a couple of miles away, and there are three more large lakes close by: Burnsville, Sutton and Summersville. All of them produced - bass (smallmouth and largemouth), bluegill, a few perch and crappie. We were focused on bass, but understand there are also walleye, musky and catfish!

The cabin was not professionally cleaned and internet for TV was hit or miss. Due to leaves on trees, no water view and cabin is on main road so can hear and see traffic. Most rentals have a check in book on instructions, phone numbers, etc., did not have one. Location close to Stonewall resort and Weston for activities.
