Excellent location, very good communication with the property manager Regarding the kitchen, I think they should renew the utensils and wash the bedding. The blankets smelled bad. By improving the aforementioned, it seems like a good option to me. The place is very quiet.

Right across from the beach!

This is our second time staying at this location and it won't be our last! It's right across from the beach, super clean, comfy, and perfect for our needs. Love it!

Loved it!

This was my second experience staying in a Chico property and loved it as much as the first. The condo was clean and safe. It is an awesome location - across the street from the beach! We will definitely be back!

Great place we stayed for 3 days, comfortable and well stocked kitchen ! Freshly decorated and right Across the street from beach , and walking distance to restaurants. Only thing I would add is additional pillows and blanket for master bed room, it could have been more comfortable...thank you !

Nice easy walk across the street to the Beach.

By the square footage you can surmise that this is a small place, but the bedroom is adequate size with a king-size bed. The mattress feels new and is firm and comfortable. It could use a little more lighting but it is livable. The living area was nice for us two and the kitchen was clean with nice dishes and normal size refrigerator. The only needed improvements are painting the trim and perhaps upgrading to a larger TV.The walk to the beach is no different than if you were in one of the beachfront high rises. By the time you walk to the elevator, through the grounds, by the pool, down the boardwalk to the beach, it takes longer than a walk across the street. Great location is practically across the street from Pampano Joe's that has a great bar and great food.

The property itself was a cute little place and the host Chris was very responsive. The property manager was not responsive at all and in fact never replied to message that was sent and never checked in to see that things worked in order for us to access the facility. It was an easy walk to the beach and a pretty area. Restaurants were not the best on the walk but an alright location.

Great Location, Nice Pool, Pleasant Stay

We enjoyed our stay 7 day stay. Public beach access directly across the street is a huge plus. Pool and hot tub area well maintained. Condo was clean with an adequately equipped kitchen sans a spatula for flipping eggs. Mattress in main bedroom was very comfortable. Issue with A/C not working properly was quickly addressed by property manager (plugged drain). A table outside on deck for eating breakfast would be a nice addition. No issues with parking or late night noise.

Close to the beach

We loved staying at Summer Breeze. It was clean and nicely decorated. Close to many restaurants and shopping. Best thing was being across the street from the most white sand beach I have ever seen and the emerald color water! Having a pool and hot tub the kids loved it. Negatives, we didn’t have access to our deck due to construction which we just found out a week before we were due to come. That made trying to dry out our beach things very hard and to sit outside the slider door. We could have used a couple more hand towels too. Also the ceiling fan did not work. Would definitely stay here again with those things taken care of.

Great Location!

We really enjoyed our stay at Summer Breeze Condominiums. The unit is on the end away from the pool, so it’s nice and quiet. The beach is a short walk across the street. So many places to eat nearby. The condo was a perfect size for the two of us. There are two bunk beds, a king in the master, and a pullout in the living area. The patio is spacious with two chairs and a trunk to store your pool accessories or ocean toys. The pool was amazing to jump into after a hot day. The neighbors and other guests were extremely friendly. The lounge chairs were nice. Checkin was easy. No problems with the locks. The air conditioner worked very well. The kitchen had everything we needed. There is a large table that seats four. The bed was fantastic and comfortable. Plenty of storage space for clothing. Lots of towels and extra necessities. Bring hangers! There were only four. No big deal though. We truly enjoyed our time here. We would definitely come back and recommend to others.

As far as location this condo was a great place. Inside the condo was disappointing and misleading. The pull out couch was the thinnest “mattress” I’ve ever seen and doesn’t fit the actual couch it’s to small. Seems like they took out the mattress that came with the couch and replaced it with a mattress topper instead. Also there wasn’t a thick blanket for the pull out couch just a fitted sheet and a thin sheet. The bunk beds were okay but very noisy with ever movement so at nighttime all you can hear is very loud squeaks. The king size bed was nice and slept great. This place really only sleeps four comfortably. The box outside with beach toys were covered in sand and both floats had holes and were unusable. The beach chairs were rusted and one was unusable. The bathroom shower drain was absolutely disgusting and visibly full of hair. The shower obviously didn’t drain and left a huge mess after every shower. Very gross. Also above the shower the ceiling has a spot the looks like it’s caving in and water damaged. The kitchen was okay. First night cooking there was a awful smell on the stove from where food was left and not cleaned off from previous occupants. Overall I think it needed a deep clean and still does.

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to write a review! We are disappointed to hear that you experienced minor cleaning and comfort issues during your stay. This condo was completely renovated in the early winter of 2018 and everything from the floors, furniture and kitchen were updated. We are glad to hear that the new King mattress was comfortable. While you described the pullout sofa and twin mattress to be uncomfortable and noisy, these are also new to this condo. We did replace the drain in the tub shower which made cleaning far easier for our crews. Also, we do our best to keep on top of the beach gear, but as you can imagine...sometimes beach gear gets a bit sandy! We have replaced any worn items with new and washed out the storage container. We realize these type of nuisances may disrupt a vacation, but as our arrival instructions explain...we have staff on call 24/7 to help remedy any issues you may have experienced during your stay. It is unfortunate that this review is the first we heard about your issues because we are quite confident we could have easily remedied most of these items within hours of your arrival.

Great Bones!

This property is a gem! Great location! I was traveling with my 5 yo son. Plastic plates, bowls & cups would be a nice addition for the families that stay at this location. There are zero. Being on the far corner of the property allowed for privacy and seemingly a private entrance. Parking was no issue, ever. Comfy bed!! Laundry was right out the front door. If you download the app for the machines, you'll receive a $5 credit. Enough for 2 loads. Definitely not a big deal not having one in the unit. I was the only one doing laundry or at least it felt like that. A laundry basket would have been helpful, if provide. The kitchen has plenty of pots, pans, toaster oven, coffee maker, knife block, ice maker, etc. to stay in and cook. Clearly, you're not using Henckels and All-Clad. Now to why it didn't receive 5 stars.... This place has great bones! Does it need some paint, for sure! You are not staying at the Ritz for this price, duh! No deadbolt on the front door or chain lock!!! That's unacceptable. The primary sheets are pilly and need to be replaced. The seating outdoor could use 2 new chairs and a table. The pictures of the balcony/patio area are not accurate. No hanging towels and suits on the railing - no big deal!! Providing somewhere to hang said wet towels and suits would be helpful.There's no broom! There's a dust-buster with a 4 inch opening & handle. Not very helpful. Lastly, the trash can needs a lid or to be replaced. A few updates and this place could be 5/5!

Underwhelming

Entered condo to a very dirty and unkempt unit. Owner did not respond until the next day so we spent the night cleaning the condo and washing bedding in the pay per load adjacent washer/dryer. Washing machine is $2 per load and dryer is $1.75 per load. They take credit cards. Bathroom faucet was broken and sink not usable upon check in. Owner informed us the day before our trip that the back deck/slider to pool area was not operational or usable at this time due to it getting renovated and insinuated it was something that just popped up. He left us a small gift card to Walmart for our trouble. However, the property manager and the cleaning lady we met the next day informed us it has been this way for quite some time. The ‘temporary’ metal beams are not attached/bolted to wood on top or bottom. The company that was hired to replace the decks took the deposit and never came back. There is no current plan to actually get it fixed so don’t let the owner spin his tale. The deck/slider are not usable and you do not have easy access to the pool area. You have to use outside locking gate and no use of a deck with no discount or honest VRBO detail for this! The condo has a great location to the beach and pompano joes. But the unit itself is shabby and worn. This was emphasized by the cleaning lady the next day when she let us know this was one of the dingiest units. The sheets, towels, blankets, pillows are all so thin and thread bare and piece mailed together. The master bedroom door neither closes or has a lock. The doors and trim have major chipped paint and very dirty walls. This unit has not recently been renovated. Don’t let the owner spin this tale either. The bottom bunk bed mattress was so worn out and loud. The kitchen was also piece mailed together so you don’t have your needs met. There isn’t a full set of measurements, no tongs etc. Miscellaneous dishes, pots and pans. There isn’t any actual care it’s all thrown together. The property had plenty of parking but the pool deck is rotting wood and popping up in spots so watch your step. Pool was heated to 86 degrees and the spa does work. There are tables with umbrellas and chairs. You can operate the umbrellas but the pins are long gone and they are using screws in their place. The men’s bathroom door at pool area doesn’t shut and 1/3 of the lights around the complex are not working. Trowel/grout bucket were left under bunk as owner just gave up finishing job. Fitting.

Here’s the facts: The guest sent a note at 10P after checking in requesting extra bedding and towels. Our Property Manager and cleaning service was on property at 8A the next morning with the requested items. While there, my Property Manager noticed that the previous guest had shoved the stopper in the bathroom down, so she contacted our plumber who had the issue resolved within the hour. The guest was in the bedroom playing a board game with his daughter while our Property Manager and cleaning service was there, so there was very little discourse other than the guest smiling and expressing how happy he was with the accommodations. There are some upgrades being made to the stairs and balconies at the complex in accordance with the new Milestone Inspection Law. The balcony project was not supposed to start until after Labor Day weekend, but the contractor jumped the gun. Because of this, the structural engineer recommended closing the balconies and patios on the North end of the property for safety reasons. Other than the patio, the guest had full access to the condo (50 yards from the beach), the swimming pool, the hot tub, the pool deck, and the bbq grills. I did provide the guest with a generous gift card for this minor inconvenience.

Family Vacation July 2022

Everything was great I’ve rented from same owner now for like 4 years. Now will have to say when we got there this year they were doing some renovation to the outside of the condos ours was a little more under construction then what the owner was aware of so our back porch area was a mess, but I do have to say once the owner was aware of this he called me personally on my cell phone while we where there and personally apologized for any inconvenience and how it looked I must say that’s top notch service and I thank him for calling in person and apologizing thank you Chris and will see you again in the future.😊

A Good Stay

The condo was clean and livable, as advertised. A ceiling fan in the bedroom would have been nice, but more importantly the bed was very comfortable. The pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyable, but the outside property is in need of some upkeep.
