This is the 2nd time we stay at the Walker's rental place in Kamas. Even though it's 25 minutes drive to Park City but we enjoy the quietness of the area, the comfort of the house and the hospitality of the Walkers.of the Walkers. We appreciate
The location was great proximity to Park City (25 minute drive). Everything was just as described. We were delighted to find some breakfast items. Such a treat after our long drive. The grocery store is very convenient. The home was well stocked with anything we needed. We will stay again if we get the chance.
Owner was quick and very helpful with question we had a very good time the home made us feel like we where all in our own home the mountains view was grate i will definitely rent this house again in the future.
Highly recommended! Very comfortable and spotless clean.
I would highly recommend this property. The house was spotless clean and looked better than in the pictures, and in a quiet neighborhood of Khamas. We stayed for 3 weeks in January and skied in Deer Valley. During the week we drove and parked at the main base in Deer Valley, approximately 35 minutes away. In the weekends most of the time we parked at Richardson Flats (less than 20 minutes away) and took the bus to not have to worry about finding a parking spot. Buses are direct to Deer Valley and very frequent; the bus always seemed to be there waiting for us every time.
We really appreciated how clean the house is. New updated living room furnishings were very comfortable as were the beds. Very well appointed home that had all the amenities we
The owners are extremely easy to work with and they obviously take very good care of this property. We had everything we needed and even some extras, like nightlights. Will definitely be staying here again!
This was a great property & location for our Park City trip. It had everything we needed. Will come back again if we're in the area. Great people to work with. Thanks for having us. Marla & Kenny
We enjoyed our stay in Kamas and away from the traffic in Park City. The house is spotless, the hosts are friendly and thoughtful, and the great reviews are absolutely true! Thank you Garry and Cindy
We had a great stay in Kamas. Great location for us to visit the slopes and family. We enjoyed the farm fresh eggs, honey and homemade bread. The home had a great supply of necessary items in the kitchen and bath. It was even decorated for Christmas! It snowed a lot during our stay but the owners were excellent about clearing the driveway. We really appreciated the use of the garage!

Adorable house in the perfect location! Garry and Cindy were easy to work with. Thank you for the honey, bread, eggs and milk. The kitchen was well stocked and we cooked several meals there for our family of six and grandma and grandpa. Thank you for a wonderful time!
The home was immaculately clean. Beds and furnishings very comfortable. Great amenities. Very well stocked kitchen. The neighborhood is very quiet.
Garry is a great host who is easy to communicate with and who provides a very well maintained property. Highly recommend.
The house is clean, comfortable, and had everything our family needed. Our kids adored the homemade bread and fresh honey and were thrilled to see Stephen's hot cocoa in the pantry. There was also eggs, fruit, juice, and other food in the cupboards. The rental was a great size and the location was great for exploring Park City, Heber, Midway and the rest of the Wasatch Back. Great communication with owner throughout! We would definitely stay here again!
This is a great rental for families. Kids love the bunk beds when they visit and all the board games. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. Fresh made bread and honey from their own hives is always a welcome treat plus all the other breakfast items. TV/ Cable has every channel you could want. The use of the garage is also a perk when raining or snowing. This was our third visit. It’s close to town and easy to find. We’ll be visiting again!
This was our second stay at this home. Large living room and kitchen areas.
Fresh baked bread and local honey greeted us on arrival. Milk, coffee, butter, eggs, and bacon for breakfast. Lots of other basic staples for cooking. Grandkids loved the bunk beds & games. Nice to have an enclosed garage.
This home is in a lovely, quiet neighborhood. We made a last minute plan to go spend some time in the mountains and we were so grateful to have this place to stay because it ended up raining most of the time. We watched movies, played chess, and had an amazing breakfast that is provided for you. Eggs, bacon, homemade bread, honey, orange juice. 😍 The beds were comfortable and the home was extremely clean. I enjoyed sitting on the porch. We will not hesitate to stay here again. The owners are close by and communicated very well.
What a wonderful house! We felt at home as soon as we walked in the door. The owners, who live next door, are gracious and helpful. The house itself has great flow, plenty of room for privacy and also for gathering together. The kitchen is amazingly well equipped with pots, pans and utensils. And there was a small supply of food to get us started -- milk, honey, bread, eggs along with staples from salt and pepper to flour and sugar. Why stop at 5 stars? We'd give it 101 stars!
We stayed at Cindy and Garry's lovely home for five weeks in February and March. Kamas is a quiet, small town and is a perfect location for travel to nearby ski resorts (Deer Valley and Park City are a 20 minute drive). The kitchen was very well stocked, including delicious honey from their bees and fresh eggs from their chickens. The beds are extremely comfortable. With three bedrooms and sofa beds, there is plenty of room for everyone. Both bathrooms had plenty of toiletries, great showers and plush towels. There are lots of games, books, DVDs, records and CDs in the house. We really appreciated the full size washer and dryer, as well as the garage. Although we didn't use it since we were there in the winter, the porch is nice and large for sitting on. Cindy and Garry live next door, if any problems arise. They were great with communication both before and during our stay. They are truly incredible hosts!! We will definitely return to this house!

About the host
Hosted by Garry Walker
We are a semi - retired couple. We keep ourselves busy running a private business online and taking care of our yard and house. We garden in the summer and have chickens and bees that we raise for a hobby. We love Kamas Valley with its rural atmosphere and lakes and mountains close by for fishing, hiking and camping. Park City is close by for skiing and entertainment. Kamas is a great way to get close without the crowds in downtown Park City.
Why they chose this property
We inherited the property from Garry's parents. It is jointly owned by the family and we chose to rent it out occasionally as a vacation home so we could keep it available for members of our families to use when needed. It is a small modest home but very comfortable and very well maintained.
What makes this property unique
We are close to lakes, mountains, skiing and entertainment. A great place to get away from crowds yet still be close for all of the city benefits.
