Welcome to the "She Shed by the Seashore", your picture-perfect beach retreat in Redington Shores. Just steps from the soft white sand and set in a peaceful neighborhood of single-family homes, this newly renovated two-bedroom, 1 ½ bath cottage blends the charm of an old Florida beach house with the comfort of modern amenities—plus a whole lot of pink!

Our space is fun, feminine, and fabulously stocked—better than any other rental like it. With over 90 perfect 10/10 reviews, we pride ourselves on personalized attention to every guest and an experience that exceeds expectations.

Inside, you’ll find two themed bedrooms: the “Heart Room” with a king bed and private half-bath, and the “Cherry Room” with a queen bed and playful pink touches. The kitchen is fully loaded for serious cooking, or just sipping wine while watching the sunset on the patio. Dine indoors or enjoy a seafood feast with fresh local catch from Nachman’s right across the street—grilled on your own private gas grill.
We’ve thought of everything: beach chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, a beach cart, coolers, and a new washer/dryer in the laundry room. After a day in the sun, rinse off at the outdoor shower and settle in for a cozy night under the glow of the beachy décor.

Super cute little house right next to the beach! Super easy beach access nearby. Outside shower was really helpful in cleaning off too. The house was stocked with basic needs like dish soap and laundry pods. A variety of beach items are also available for use. Small but very cute! Theme was done very well.

Beautiful little cottage house

The house was perfect for myself, husband, and two little boys. The house had a pack n play, beach toys, and wagon for use. Being so close to the beach access was also a huge plus. Great walking distance to multiple places. Would definitely stay again!

Perfect beach get away

We had an amazing beach get away - this is a perfect home away from home, for a family or couples vacation. It’s just a few steps from the (very private and pristine) beach and local bars/restaurants. MaryBeth was an incredible host who provided a seamless experience. Will be making a trip back soon!

First, Mary Beth is AMAZING just like her She Shed. She is the hostess with the mostest! I came down for my birthday this year and she made my stay extra special. I have been coming to the area from NC for over 5 years and I will only be staying here now. She makes it feel like home on the beach. Everything is as advertised but better.. booking, location, parking, beach access, cleanliness is perfect. The She Shed is not only for the girls girl but EVERYONE. We loved it so much that I was already booking our September trip before we checked out to make sure we could stay again.

I Rent by the Month, this place was perfect with all the comforts of home. Amazing Stay

This was our first VRBO stay. MaryBeth was an among host she has thought of the simplest things like tape. The finer details are noticeable in this cutely decorated little bungalow. The house sits in a quiet little neighborhood with wonderful access to the beach. The area of Redington Shores is beautiful. We had great meals near by. We will be back to the area and will stay here again.

Spring Getaway

The Castaway Cottage is beautifully appointed, it is stocked with many extras, the outside living space is extremely pleasant, the beds are comfortable and it is very clean and well kept. The neighborhood community is friendly and the owner, MaryBeth, is quite hospitable, she is so kind, she is easy to work with and she is very accommodating. The sunsets in the evening were a delight and they were so easily accessible with the beach only a short walk away. My family and I are already planning a repeat stay on account of how much we enjoyed our time at the Castaway Cottage.
