Trout Creek is just a short 10-20 minute drive to the resort towns of Petoskey and Harbor Springs. Mackinaw City is only a 30 minute drive where you can hop on the ferry to Mackinac Island. Access to Lake Michigan at the Petoskey State Park is only a 7 minute drive. Trout Creek is surrounded by golf courses and located next to Boyne Highlands and Nubs Nob ski resorts. Birding trails, biking, boating and so much more all nearby.

Stuffy smell, a bit outdated.

This was our first experience with an online vacation rental. I expected something a little more updated, and there was a strange smell either animals or cigarettes. Other than that, it was fine. The location situated in the woods was very beautiful.
