Nestled back on a 3/4's of an acre, this mountain cabin is the perfect getaway! Bring the kids to run free in the fenced in private back yard, explore the wooded walking path on the property or take a quiet stroll down the hidden neighborhood lanes. The expansive open deck is a great place to soak up the afternoon sun with friends, while relaxing to the sounds of nature surrounding you. Just a short walk to Apple Lake, where you are offered full access; this home is the perfect setting for a romantic getaway or a weekend away with family or friends. Whatever you are coming to Highlands for, Heaven in the Hills is sure to be the place you come back to time and time again.

As you enter the property, you are surrounded by a beautifully landscaped rhododendron and mature growth forest. The driveway offers ample parking as well as a carport for those rainy days. Stepping inside the home, you are greeted by warm wood accents, vaulted ceilings and large sun filled windows. The main level offers an open kitchen, dining and living room where everyone can enjoy each others company. Updated granite counter tops, stone tiled back splash and deep farm sink are just a few of the great features the kitchen has to offer. There is a cute little breakfast table overlooking the deck and yard with seating for 4, a breakfast bar with 2 bar stools overlooking the kitchen as well as the main dining table which offers an additional seating for 6. The sliding glass doors off of the dining area allow access to the deck, outdoor dining area and of course the almighty grill.

With the light and bright master suite on the main level, this is a perfect getaway for 2 with one-level living or for small family adventure with the guest room on the upper level. The master suite bath has a walk-in shower with a glass block wall allowing ample natural sunlight in. With high-end finishes and chic decor, the master suite is sure to impress.

The upstairs loft area is furnished with 2 futon couches. This area is furnished with a flat screen TV and some of the families favorite board games making this the best little kids area or hang out space. The upstairs also houses the guest suite offering 2 Twin beds and another full bath lined with custom stone tile work and freshly painted ship-lap ceilings.

Other home delights include full laundry area, cable TV, wireless internet and a wood burning stove to take away the chill on a cool fall eve. You are located just a few minutes walk to Apple Lake and the Old Edwards Inn & Spa's 1/2 Mile Farm property, as well as a short 5 minute drive to Main Street Highlands.

*This is a no-pet property.* -- However, Those with severe allergies, PLEASE NOTE: The owners do own pets, including a cat, that occasionally stay at this property.

[All of the homes managed by Highlands Vacation Rentals have wifi internet access(speeds may vary based on different providers), basic kitchenware & dishes, linens provided, and a starter set of amenities including: 2 toilet paper rolls per bathroom + A set of personal shampoo, conditioner, hand & body soap (also per bathroom), 2 paper towel rolls, a few kitchen trash bags, a kitchen sponge, some dish soap and a couple of dishwasher and laundry detergent pods. ]

** Please be advised that the Convenience fee is the credit card processing fee for the reservation. If you wish to avoid this fee, you may still place your reservation but will need to call the office and pay by echeck **
CANCELLATION POLICY: Our cancellation policy is outlined below:
For reservations that are 21 days or less, A reservation cancelled ( by email receipt ) between 0 - 45 days prior to arrival is not eligible for a refund. If reservation is cancelled more than 45 days prior to arrival, guest shall receive a refund of all payments made* less a cancellation fee of 10% of the total cost of the reservation AND the cost of any trip insurance if purchased.
*Refunds do not include third-party service fees as those are determined by the booking site and we do not control how those funds are processed.
For any reservations that are more than 21 days, No refund will be given unless the property is re-rented over the previously booked dates.
