In winter, who cares what the weather is outside? Relax in a cozy sitting area to view the stream, wildlife and Mountaintop Lake. Our house is certified by the National Wildlife Federation so many animals pass bye. We are located near Camelback, Big Boulder and Jack Frost.for skiing and snow tubing. We have a steep driveway and only 3 cars will be able to fit. Need to have 4-wheel drive vehicles. There is a shovel for you to shovel the steps to the door. Driveway will be plowed when 4+ inches.
Linens and towels provided. Need to make your own beds. Incredible backyard view stream from heated sun room or sit in the swing/bench around the firepit and roast some marshmallows.

In summer: Only 200 feet to the main beach East Emerald Lake with a playground and swimming. Need to purchase amenity passes.
Family friendly: Have umbrella stroller, pack n play and highchair for younger children. The stream in the backyard is a great experience for youngsters.

These prices are subject to ELA. You will have to visit EL Administration Office, Clubhouse Lodge, or order online to obtain amenity badges. Amenity fees: Children 2 and under are free. 1- day pass – $20.00 per person 3- day pass – $30.00 per person 7- day pass – $50.00 per person
Boat permit $10 badge fees vary depending on your stay and number in party.
ELA amenities include: beaches, tennis courts, heated outdoor and indoor pool, clubhouse bar/restaurant. Need to pay for these at the EL Administration Office or Lodge Clubhouse. They are not included in the VRBO price. All subject to change from ELA.

Fishing Dock: Property has a fishing dock. ELA requires a fee of $10.00/person. Fishing permits required by the state of PA and ELA for anyone over 16. ELA charges $15/boat if you choose to bring one or rent one.

Lake at top of driveway feeds into our stream in the back yard and then into the cove which feeds into the largest lake in the development. Depending on the rain fall, the cove water level will be affected.

This 3-bedroom, 2 bath offers a furnished family room w/ping pong table, air hockey, and dart board. Cathedral ceilings, wood burning fireplace, (need to provide your own fire wood) and a modern fully equipped kitchen. Deck from master bedroom and from sun porch. Air conditioning in master bedroom in summer months. Ceiling fans in other bedrooms. Downstairs is a sleeper sofa - ideal for children.

Top bunk bed to be used by children under 100 lbs. see photo - so bring the kids. Also, rustic furniture in master bedroom, new dresser in middle bedroom and refinished both bath rooms.

ELA is a 5 lake private community: Mountaintop Lake – 55 acres (which our house is on), Pine Tree Lake & beach – 25 acres, East Emerald Lake & beach – 25 acres, West Emerald Lake – 22 acres and Deer Pond & Lower Deer Pond – approx. 10 acres.

You will need to sign short term lease, see sample in documents and I will need your address, telephone for the lease. ELA requires you complete a registration form 24 hours prior to renting and reading the Rules & Regulations. Please allow at least 1 week to process paperwork. See attachments short term lease with Responsibility of renters. .

You need to bring paper products, garbage bags and personal items. Directions on opening and closing house will be sent to you upon payment. Clean linens and towels will be on the beds. You need to make your own beds. Upon departure, take them off the beds and place in laundry room as well as used towels.

Sorry, we do not allow pets or smoking in the house.
