This is the way to experience all that Whistler has to offer. This is a well-stocked and updated 2 bedroom, 2 bath townhome in a great location - within walking distance to the village and lifts.
The Space
The Northstar complex is located across the street from the Marketplace Shopping Complex, the start of the Village Stroll and the Whistler Olympic Plaza. The Whistler Blackcomb gondolas are a 10 minute walk away, or take the free shuttle bus that stops right outside. The location is in close proximity to everything in Whistler Village, but also tucked away from the hustle and bustle so that guests can enjoy a good night’s sleep after a hard day on the slopes.
The complex has a great outdoor pool and hot tub area that is open year-round (with change rooms), as well as free, secure, underground parking.
The townhouse itself consists of almost 1000 square feet of living area over two levels, so you won't feel cramped in a condo. Two bedrooms and two full baths with updated flooring. Sleeps 7 or 8 as we have Queen over Queen bunkbeds and a sofabed in the living room.
In suite amenities include almost all the comforts of home including a gas fireplace, in-suite laundry (washer/dryer), TV's in the living area and in both bedrooms. High speed internet and Cable / Netflix.
A well supplied kitchen with pots, pans, coffee maker, toaster, cutting boards, glasses/mugs, utensils, plates and silverware make it easy to cook if you like. The dining area offers a large dining table that sits six people comfortably, and there's a gas BBQ on the private patio if you like to grill. Or enjoy some of the excellent dining available in Whistler Village. Have your vacation the way you want it.
This is our family vacation place in Whistler. We've outfitted it with all the many things you'd find in a regular home so you can leave everything but your clothes and skis behind. We come up whenever we can, the rest of the time it's available for you to enjoy.

Guests have access to the entire townhome, parking garage, secure bike storage, and large heated outdoor pool and hot tub on the property - all available year-round.
Our townhouse is located on the second floor. The access is through a covered walkway and then a short staircase.

I'm Chris, a fun loving business executive with a variety of interests including Stand Up Comedy, Scuba Diving, Snowboarding, Star Wars and Comic Books. I spend a lot of my time with my young son Zavier and wife Almira. We love hitting the slopes in the winter so Whistler was a natural fit for us.
Why they chose this property
We love this place because it doesn't feel cramped. A lot of places in Whistler are small one bedroom condos that don't work well for families. This place almost 1000 square feet so you can really feel like you are at home here.
It's just enough away from the main village that you don't get the noise but close enough to walk.
Once you park in the secure underground parking you won't need to drive again. Everything is in walking distance including the lifts. They are about 10-15 minutes away though so we recommend taking the free shuttle across the street which will drop you right at the Gondolas.
There's excellent biking and other great activities in Whistler too!

BIKE STORAGE
There is a locked bike room in the parkade and you will need to use your own lock if you wish to lock them in there. While this is a secure/locked facility it is shared with other guests.
PARKING
You can park one vehicle in our designated underground parking spot. The parking gate is 6 ft 6 inches in height. There are additional visitor spots in the parkade, first come, first served. Otherwise there is additional parking at the Conference center for $15 a day. There are also day lots in the village (which are uncovered and outside), the range in price is around $20/day.
POOL AND HOT TUB
Pool & Hot tub hours are 10 am - 10 pm
Covid protocols currently require all guests wear masks in the lobby on their way to the pool.
Internet – Network and password will be emailed to you prior to your arrival and is also noted in the property.
Door code - will be sent to you 2-3 days before you arrive.
No smoking - According to strata bylaw, there is no smoking of any substances on the premises. That includes the balcony of the unit and any common areas of the complex.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE
Quiet hours, after 11pm are strictly enforced. Violations of this will result in fines of $105 for security call out and possibly an additional $200 for strata fines.
Guests are responsible for doing a general tidy up before leaving which includes:
1) Taking out the trash
2) Turning on the dishwasher
Keycard must be returned to the unit at checkout or $100 replacement fee will be charged.
