Find zen on the nature trails at this 50 acre conservancy where you'll spot wildlife, rare birds, restored prairie, native wildflowers, wet meadow, flowing trout waters, oak savanna and towering pines. Located 1 mile north of the Wisconsin 400 State Trail and also close to several famous state parks.

Tastefully decorated and comfortable guesthouse with a Jacuzzi tub, gas stove fireplace, bathroom, dining area, queen bed and a peaceful covered porch, on a wooded setting.

Fantastic get away in a rustic, picturesque cabin

We had a great stay in the prairie smoke cabin (1 of 4 cabins on the property). The cabin itself was very cozy and clean, and it had everything you needed, including breakfast in the lobby. What really makes this place stand out is what else the site has to offer. The pond with the swing and campfire was a great place to relax, and exploring the trail that goes through the woods and prairie area was also fun. We were often greeted by their friendly dog, Buddha. Plus it's close to several great outdoor activities as well as the Dell's.

Nice cabins in a nice setting. Dust on the tv and back of couch. Bathroom fan was almost plugged with dust. Cobwebs in every corner by ceiling. Table is too low to get legs under. Owners dogs were very friendly! Overall a little disappointing.

The property is nice and the provided breakfast is good however we were expecting a warm breakfast. Quiches were provided to be microwaved with a personal microwave in room. Netflix was provided which was an added bonus. We would stay here again.

Last minute get away..

Cool little property to get away from things. Room was great and was just what we were looking for. Quiet, warm, and welcoming as you walk through the door. Cabin had everything we needed. Whirlpool tub was awesome, bed was comfortable, and the little gas fireplace was a great little bonus. We were a last minute booking but the owner was very responsive so there were no issues. We look forward to coming back again. Thanks

This place is absolutely amazing. The room was clean and inviting & the ambeounce and sounds of the pond at night with the lights by the rope swing was so relaxing. Close by everything you could need but still has the feel you are out in the middle of nowhere were its peaceful & quiet. I highly recommend as we will definitely be coming back.

We enjoy staying at the Prairie Smoke Cottage very much. It had all we needed. It was very clean and decorated well. The breakfast was tasty with a good selection. We would stay again! Sasha was a great hostess!
