This property was even better than expected. The pictures on the website don't do it justice. The panoramic views are stunning!The villa is clean and well maintained and the grounds are beautifully kept. The only drawback was the fact that there are no shops or restaurants in walking distance, so either a rental car or Uber is a must. We found Uber to be a very reliable form of transportation in Mykonos.For our family, the property was perfect as a quiet retreat from the city, complete with a large pool and a wonderful hot tub. We absolutely loved our stay in this little piece of paradise!

Lovely villa

Beautiful Greek villa with stunning views and amazing outside space. Our host was incredibly helpful and welcoming. We had a super week. It was not really possible to walk anywhere from the property so a car was critical and the swimming pool area could have been more comfortable in keeping with the villa itsef

Beautiful villa!!

We had 7 people comprised of two families (3teens and 4 adults). It was very spacious. The driving to and from town was a little crazy but it wasn’t terrible with an automatic. A car is a must! The large property had plenty of privacy. The kitchen is small but we ate everything except breakfast out. We throughly enjoyed our trip! The views are great including the amazing sunset views! It was a perfect spot for our vacation! Thank you Sofia!

Disappointed. The pool (between 8 villas) : big but uninviting. Sun loungers old and rusty, Looks like a school pool. Not enough shaded area and no umbrellas (due to strong wind). One of the bedroom is separated from the main house, if you need the kitchen at night or before everybody in main house is up, Door is locked overnight. 1 key of the house is given, we were 6 people, always juggling with the key. Alarm beeping each time someone open a door. Toilets have no locks. 2 of the bedrooms have no small light( Photos on listing innacurate). You read a book at night and have to get up to switch off the light. Living room/ kitchen area much smaller than it looks on the photo, cooking for 6 is a challenge, very little pots and pans) . Only 5 teaspoons in the drawer. Our beds were changed once in 11 days. Our beach towels were not changed at all (it says every 3 days on the description) I knew We had no access to a washing machine but the cleaner was using it a lot and the dryer was on for hours ! The noise was annoying. The day before our leaving date, I went out early, came back in the villa around 10.45am, the cleaner was washing all the outside patios, water everywhere and we had to stay inside until it dried. I complained to the owner but was told they were trying to gain time for the next day new customers ! Always a cleaner or a gardener walking in your garden/patio anytime time of day and night. Nearest beach by foot is 25 mns ( not 2 mns walk), car is essential.

Thank you for your feedback. We always strive to provide an exceptional stay, but communication is key to achieving this. During your 11-day stay, no issues or discomforts were mentioned. Had you contacted us earlier, any minor concerns could have been resolved immediately. To clarify a few points for future guests: our 6 villas share 36 sunloungers (purchased in 2023) and two pergolas built in 2026 to ensure ample shade. As a standard guesthouse, the property is attached but entirely separate from the main house, featuring an independent entrance and a dedicated second refrigerator for your convenience. The safety alarm beep could have been easily deactivated with a simple request. Regarding the cleaning services, we employ professional staff to change linens and towels every 3 days. We were never informed that this did not happen. Additionally, our housekeeper provides a complimentary daily service to clean the kitchen, remove trash, and tidy the patio. The patio was washed to clean the heavy dust caused by strong winds before your departure, not to prepare for the next booking. Our dedicated cleaning and gardening staff work diligently around the estate's shared areas—never inside your private villa—to maintain our lush, green grounds. Lastly, our listing provides accurate location details, and we do not advertise a 2-minute walk to the beach. We always encourage open communication during a stay so we can ensure our guests have a flawless experience.

Spectacular views and a very professional host.

We had a fabulous 10 days staying here. The views are spectacular and I chose a different spot around the villa to appreciate them from every time I had a coffee or a glass of wine. Great outdoor dining and entertainment spaces. My teenage kids loved the jacuzzi and I liked having the private sun loungers, although there were always plenty of loungers available at the pool as well, which was larger than it appears in the photos. Sofia was a brilliant host from start to finish. Always available to answer questions on the area and the villa during the booking process and quick to respond during our stay as well. I would recommend the location for the stunning views, but also for anyone who doesn’t want to be right in the hustle and bustle of Mykonos Town. We had the best of both worlds where we had easy access by car to the town but also plenty of beaches around the island. A car is a must if staying here. Sofia recommended a great car hire company who we also used to arrange a couple of late night pick ups for when we didn’t want to drive ourselves. If I’m heading back to Mykonos in the future I will definitely be contacting Sofia again!

Vacation getaway

We had aa wonderful time here. The house was gorgeous. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Sofia was very responsive to our questions. It was great having someone clean every day. The island was terrific and Sofia provided excellent guidance about where to go, beaches, etc.

Beautiful Property!

The Aegean Villa was an amazing place to spend my two weeks in Mykonos. I am an avid traveler and have rented many properties for both myself and clients. This was a family and friend vacation and we had some guests come and go. I was clear with Sofia up front on who was going to be in attendance and when, and Sofia was accommodating and helpful with ensuring that linens were changed appropriately, etc. Overall, Sofia was a highly gracious and responsive host and the property was of high quality. The description accurately represented the villa, which was helpful when deciding who would be placed in each room (they varied in size, etc). Everything worked well at the property and we had no issues with the facilities at all. The doors and windows were solid and secure, and the alarm system was new and worked perfectly. The pool was amazing and refreshing and very clean. The daily cleaning service was very helpful and convenient. When I did have a question, I would send Sofia and message and she responded very promptly. The info she sent me prior to our arrival was also very helpful. I would suggest you rent a vehicle (Sofia recommended an agency that worked out wonderfully), as the property is not walking distance to anything. By car, everything on the Island is close and easy to get to. We also used the iMove app, which is transportation on call. We even used it for moving all 8 guests at once by minibus. I would LOVE to rent this villa from Sofia again in the years to come. It would be an absolute joy to have this property truly be a home away from home in beautiful Mykonos. If you can do so, rent this property. Whether you want to sit outside in the AM and sip your coffee while overlooking the Aegean, or sit in the clean and hot spa while winding down after a day of sightseeing, this is the place to do it!

Great family holiday in mykonos

Outstanding Villa made for a Great first visit to Mykonos.

The villa was more than we could have hoped for. The location was simple to get to, and the views from every room were breathtaking. the separate apartment was perfect for our teen daughter to have her space, and would work well if 2 couples were traveling together. Sophia was outstanding about communicating with us once we made the reservation and provided plenty of great suggestions on what we could do and places to go during our stay. The shared pool was wonderful, and their new jacuzzi provides the perfect place to unwind after a day of adventure. We did have one issue with the power on the first night, but Sofia and Stanos quickly responded and made the glitch a very minor item. The covered terraces were great to just relax and take in the beauty of the surrounding views. The villa lived like a second home and you want for nothing. To fully enjoy the area, you should plan on renting a vehicle. It is quick and simple to get to pretty much anywhere on the island, but to get to the south beaches, airport and Mykonos Town are very short drives away from the villa. We would gladly stay here on any future visit to Mykonos, and fully recommend it to others looking for a place to stay with older kids or multiple couples.

Very good experience!

We had a wonderful time staying at Aegean View villa! It was a pleasure to meet Sofia and her husband once we arrived. They have explained everything in detail to make our stay more comfortable. We were visiting Mykonos with small children and this villa is great for that. everyone had their own privacy and were not separated from each other at the same time. There is also a guest house with a separate entry that can be used for friends or family members who'd like to have extra privacy. Location of the villa is nice with very easy access to the most beautiful beaches, town and all the restaurants. There is a very clean and deep pool on the property with an excellent view to the Aegean sea. We will definitely be back!
