About this property

Bayview House - Panoramic Bay Views with EV charger. Close to Bandon Dunes.

Bayview house with amazing Panoramic views of the Coos Bay.

This home is conveniently located close to several golf courses including the world renowned Bandon Dunes with their 5 Scottish link courses perched above the Pacific Ocean and has easy access to several state parks including Shore Acres and Oregon Dunes National Recreational area.

A perfect place to relax, unwind and gather with friends and family. This large home is located in a quiet historic neighborhood of North Bend with breathtaking panoramic bay views.
Enjoy the sunrise across the bay on the upper deck or on the lower covered patio in the Adirondack chairs as the Blacktail Deer join you for coffee. Watch the oysters boats harvest oysters out across the bay. Large ocean going ships transporting Oregon logs maneuvered by Tugs may grace your stay. Amazing views!

Bayview house was built in 1955 and recently remodeled.(The upper level of the house was renovated in 2019 with the lower level fully renovated in 2021)

This home features Panoramic views of the Bay with breathtaking sunrises. The rising of a full moon over the bay is equally as spectacular.

The home boasts 5 comfortable bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, a large dining room with a smaller dining area on the lower level, 2 full kitchens, a spacious living room with fireplace on the upper level and a second living room on the lower level. The house can accommodate 10-12 guests. We added two ottoman/single beds (located in the upper level/main living room) that can be discretely tucked away when not in use, as well as a pack and play (if needed).

A smart TV is located in both the living areas set up with HULU and Netflix. Feel free to stream your own favorite channels during your stay.

The house has a large upper deck that can be accessed through french doors from the living room to enjoy the Bayview and local wildlife including our most frequent visitors ...a family of black tail deer.
Bird watchers will delight at the sight of bald eagles, kestrels and birds local to the Oregon Coast(binoculars available).
Watch large log ships from international waters pass by, Oyster boats harvesting in the bay, barbecue on the deck, play board games or curl up by the fire with a good book!
The lower level has a covered patio will allow year round enjoyment despite what the Oregon weather brings. Both the upper and lower levels have outdoor BBQ's.

The house has an abundance of board games.

We have added crab rings to the house and instructions to apply for a license.(Crabbing is currently open to both residents and non residents at this time)There is also a propane crab cooker for outside use.

There is ample covered parking (7 ft height restriction for the carport) with parking available either side of the carport for oversized vehicles .We may also be able to accommodate ATV trailers or a small boat. (Over 7 ft will need some extra maneuvering either side of the carport) Additional parking is available to the south of the main entrance on the adjoining lot with separate access to the lower level via a gravel path if required.

We recently added a complimentary Tesla EV Charger with a maximum 48 Amp output and 11.5KW that will charge between 30-44 miles of range per hour dependent on Tesla Model. This is located under the carport for covered charging.

If you have a non Tesla EV, we have a Tesla to J1772 charging adaptor we will make available during your stay ( please let us know before your arrival)

Enjoy all the coast has to offer: fishing, crabbing, clamming, beach combing, hiking, kayaking, ATV-ing and golf.

This home is a short walk to a great local park with play equipment and walking trails (Ferry road Park), The Bay and The McCullough Bridge. This is an old established historic neighborhood. A small community library allows either book exchange, book donation or lending based on the honor system.

A boat ramp is less than a mile away to access the bay by water. (Bring your boat and fishing/ crabbing gear)The area offers year round salt water fishing and freshwater fishing along with crabbing and clamming. We have Crab rings, buckets and a propane crab cooker at the house for outdoor use only. If you want to try your hand at crabbing , we can advise you on licensing and where to go.

Bandon Dunes is located 22 miles south of the property.

A local casino is just over a mile away.( The Mill Casino)

The Oregon Dunes stretch for 54 miles between North Bend and Florence for ATV/ Off-road enthusiasts. There are many seasonal things available in the area from clam and crab festivals, the cranberry festival in Bandon, blackberry festival in coos bay, and the Fun festival with the Steve Prefontaine run. Salmon fishing begins in August / September with steelhead fishing in January-March. We are also home to 3A State BasketballOregon Coast and the Music Festival. Bandon Dunes is a short drive away and offers year round golfing. Shore Acres lights are also a must see from Thanksgiving-New Year’s Eve that returned in 2022 with a new reservation system.

Awesome!
We had an absolutely wonderful stay. It was a very meaningful trip as part of my mom's "last wishes." She wanted to return to the North Bend area where she grew up. We couldn't have asked for a better host or home to stay in. The home was spacious and stocked with every imaginable thing to make us feel "at home" and welcomed (spoiled is more like it!) It was one of the best VBRO homes we have ever stayed in! We spent a lot of time on the deck just taking in the breathtaking view, listening to the birds, watching the deer, and the various boat/tug traffic along the bay. It was so scenic and peaceful. Downtown Coos Bay is nearby, making it easy to get around to see the various sites. We highly recommend this home. You will not be disappointed!

Wonderful Host, great house and oh that view
Great large property, Loved the extra food supplies that was there. Host went out of her way to accommodate us. Incredible view of ships going by. Family loved the sleeping arrangements. Only complaint were the old style low rounds toilets. Hard on the elderly.
