Perfect Location

This place was perfect for a quick family fun weekend. The Perfect North was awesome and the kids had a blast shooting games of pool in the evening! The owner had a lot of great restaurant suggestions and was really helpful.

We had a pleasant stay at Jeff’s place and really enjoyed meeting him in person. He is a genuinely kind, hospitable host who clearly cares about guests and takes pride in his property. Jeff went out of his way to be welcoming and responsive, and we especially appreciated how gracious he was when we had questions during our stay.The property has a rustic, lodge-style feel that would be a great fit for hunting, fishing, or men’s retreat–type trips, and we can definitely see the appeal for those kinds of groups. Jeff himself is a retired electrician/contractor with a wealth of knowledge and stories, and we truly enjoyed getting to know him. We’re even looking forward to staying in touch and potentially returning during hunting or fishing season.For future guests, it’s helpful to know that the setup is more of a kitchenette than a full kitchen (microwave and toaster oven rather than a stovetop), and amenities may differ a bit from what some travelers expect. As long as you’re aligned with the rustic lodge experience, you’ll likely enjoy your time and Jeff’s hospitality very much.Overall, Jeff is a wonderful host and a good man, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to stay at his place and connect with him.

Lots of fun

The kids had a great time, playing lots of games, watching Netflix, making s’mores… it was perfect for this group of teens.

DO NOT BOOK HERE Could not be a worse experience

Save yourself. Don’t stay here. Why bother, absent some magical notification you won’t have a place anyway. Arrived to the property and people were unexpectedly there. The place was not ready to be rented and the excuse was ‘we didn’t get a notification’ I rented this place because it said it allowed for events. The entire event was ruined. Vrbo could not re-find a place last minute. I reached out to be compensated for the thwarted plan -a legally defendable compensation- and it spun into nothing. Avoid avoid avoid avoid.

in my defense there is a first for everything! the first time VRBO did not send a notification of guests coming the next day & the day of. first time a guest just showed up never called or text with a question or exact directions. first time a guest showed up & wouldn't get out of the car because I wanted to give it a once over since I did not know they were coming .first time a guest lied about how many people they had in their group they did not realize we live on the property & it only accommodates 8 to 10 . she explained she was having a party with of over 25 people but her rental approval with me said only 2 adults were coming. first time a guest said it was unacceptable for me to do a walk through with them before I found out she had over 25 people coming. first time a guest had a problem with a dog on our property that her son did not like dogs. first time a guest was refunded from me the day of but that wasn't good enough she wanted to be compensated even more through VRBO basically sueing them even though she lied about how many guests were coming (2 adults)first time for a bad review in over 60 guest's there was no accommodating her because she knew over 25 people showing up was not going to fly with no approval this was someone trying to abuse Vrbo regulations!

So much fun and we'll worth it!

My family and friends had so much fun at this property! We had so much to do there that we were never board. My children did not want to leave. Easy rental process and worth every penny!
