Enjoy your stay at this very nice 4 yr old two bedroom 1 1/2 bathroom newly renovated, including new heat/air system and hot tur as well as gas firepit

This 4 acre vacation rental on lake barkley 2 bedroom with a split bathroom newly renovated with new heat/air unit as well as hot tub and gas firepit located on Moon Bay Dr with a shaded lot is perfect for boaters or just kick back and relax enjoy the country like surroundings, amenities include. gas grill, fire pit with wood provided, 3 covered seating areas, very peaceful secure area , lots of wildlife, deer, turkey, osprey and eagles are all common sites, ample parking for you boaters, close to several boat ramps, one extremely close, others are less than 5 mins away, as well as a full service marinas, such as Hu'be's , Green Turtle Bay and Buzzard Rock. A variety of restaurants such as, Patti's Settlement, Oasis Bar and Grill, The Joint Bbq and authentic Mexican are just a few examples of great food just minutes away. 2 night minimum stay and 3 night minimum stay on holidays. There is a pet fee, limit 2 dogs, $25.00 per dog per night. Kayaks (2) available (FREE) first come first serve.

We'll talk to housekeeping about the window being open, there is a screen on the windows so don't understand how mosquitoes got in, personally we are there a lot and never seen a single mosquitoe. As for the neighbors they do have children and dogs that they call out for sometimes loudly, working on the TV now to see why is not connecting to the internet however we do have 250 channels on satellite TV

We enjoyed our stay! The home was just as described. We were able to bring our dog with us, which was great! The property was beautiful, we enjoyed our dinner out on the patio and even played some card games out there. The hot tub was clean and a nice way to wind down at night. The website description of this two-bedroom home is accurate, and the owners are wonderful to work with. The house was very clean and well stocked when we arrived.A standard Mr. Coffee brand coffee maker with a supply of filters was provided, along with a Keurig coffee maker with a variety of K-cups. For guests who enjoy cooking, the kitchen is well equipped with plenty of utensils, pots, pans, a pizza cutter, and other essentials. The coffee supplies were a particularly nice touch, eliminating the need to run to the store first thing in the morning.The bedding was clean and comfortable. Each bedroom included a small closet or armoire for clothing storage, although neither had a dresser with drawers. One bedroom has an en-suite toilet, while the second bedroom has a nearby toilet and sink. A separate shower and third sink are available for all guests to use.The living room and kitchen are spacious, and the large TV was a nice feature. Lighting throughout the home was excellent. As a minor suggestion, a few additional shelves and hooks in the bathrooms would make the space even more convenient.The home is situated on spacious, well-maintained grounds with a patio in the front and a small deck in the back next to a gas grill. A boat ramp is nearby, but there is no public slip within walking distance for docking a boat. However, marinas with boat ramps and daytime public slips are only a few minutes away by car.Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great place on Kentucky/Barkley Lakes

Visited for a tournament on KY lake. Lots of parking and very isolated/peaceful. The owners are super nice and live on the same shared large property.

Quiet Location

Short fishing trip w/my brother and just needed a clean, quiet place to crash after a long day. House sits right on the drive so was able to easily unload everything and power up the batteries. Owner is putting in an extended driveway (under construction during our stay) to loop around to better server those with boats, but we managed to back in with no issues. Reasonably priced and will definitely book again.
