About this property

The Orangery apartment, Chateau de la Trousse

2 bedroom apartment (sleeps 5) in part of a converted Orangery on a Chateau Estate, 35 minutes from EuroDisney. Set amidst 40 acre private grounds, 35 minutes from EuroDisney, 40 minutes from Paris or CDG airport by car, or 50 minutes into Paris by direct train. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeps 5.

The apartment has a ground floor open plan kitchen-diner, with patio doors onto the front terrace overlooking the picturesque Chateau de la Trousse, and back terrace onto the formal gardens towards the swimming pool. First floor has a double-bed and private shower and toilet. There are steep stairs to the upper floor, where there are three beds, with a private shower and toilet. The top bedroom can get hot in the summer and there are fans to help.

There are formal gardens and pond, woodland and orchard. 40 acres to explore. There is a shared outdoor tennis court and swimming pool. These are usually operational from late May-September each year. Please check with the owner for precise updates to avoid disappointment. The pool can be cold - so beware!

The Orangery is 5 minutes' drive into Lizy-sur-Ourq where there are trains (free parking) to Gare de l'Est, or sometimes better to go from nearby Trilport where the service is direct. Lazy has two supermarkets, bakers and universal car charger.

The Chateau is set in glorious countryside, close to the Champagne region and 35 minutes' drive from EuroDisney. Car needed, but currently no electric charging facilities at the Chateau. It is 40 minutes from Charles de Gaulle airport so occasionally we get planes overhead.

Equipped for self-catering holidays, but parties not allowed.

This is our holiday home and we'd love you to enjoy it too. This is an exclusive private Chateau estate – please respect the history of the place and the privacy of other owners and their guests. We love it and we’re sure you will too.
Our prices include all fees. No hidden fees.
