Welcome to our beach escape at the beautiful Gulf Shores Plantation Resort in Fort Morgan, Alabama. The Plantation is a gated, family-oriented vacation destination offering over 2000 feet of wide, sugar-white sand beach on the Gulf of Mexico, with natural dunes and gorgeous landscaping. In addition, our resort is adjacent to over 1 mile of totally undeveloped beach.

Ideally located, Gulf Shores Plantation is 15-20 minutes away from the restaurants, shopping, and entertainment of Gulf Shores, yet our beach is not crowded or over-developed. A perfect place for an active family vacation or romantic getaway.

Our privately owned, ground floor studio condo, which is decorated with original artwork, and has a queen sleeping area with an additional sleeper sofa. There's a fully equipped full-size kitchen and a separate bathroom.

Our resort offers an incredible number of on-site activities/amenities. We promise you'll have a wonderful vacation at an unbeatable value in our home-away-from-home.

It was amazingly relaxing! Not looking for a party town. It was quiet and secluded and the beach was amazing and uncrowded. Great restaurants nearby and you didn't have to go into town for anything

Perfect Quiet Vacation for a Couple

This unit was compact and simple but very clean and all you need for a beach trip as a couple. Pools and other facilities were very nice and well kept. The included beach cabana was a big bonus for us! Steve was an excellent communicator and the smart lock was very simple to work. Would stay again!

Relaxing

Walking distance to beach. Not crowded in January. Would rent again. The couch a little uncomfortable may want to think about new one.

Plantation condo

Check in was quick and easy security guard was prompt about getting our permit shows exactly where a room was very beach accessible easy access to the pool and hot tubs in volleyball court beach within walking distance. Dollar general was right down the road a couple miles

Great stay, quit location sorry walk to boardwalk. Nice pool next to condo. Only thing that made stay a 4 instead of a 5 was the floors should be cleaned better, socks got dirty on bottom just walking in condo. Also would have been nice to have Kleenex at least in bathroom. Overall great stay and would stay at same condo if available in future.

Relaxing vacation

My husband and I stayed M-Th this week and had a very nice relaxing time here. The room was small but it was enough for us. The room could use a little updating but for the most part was fine for us. We struggled a little with the key/keypad but once we got the spare we were fine. Was impressed with the upkeep of the property and the pools. We loved going between the 2 pools and the boardwalk to the beach was a plus. Discovered the indoor pool and that was a nice break from the heat of outdoors! We enjoyed our time and already planning to come back.

The condo was not very clean, I saw several bugs. There was no blanket for the pull out bed and it smelled musty in the room. The overall property and location was very nice.

No View Ground Floor Limited Parking

The owner was wonderful, communication was great and check in was seamless. There is a decent walk around the building past two pools, down the parking lot just to get to beach access. The elevator was not working most of the time, we didn't need it but our family upstairs did. The parking lot has minimal parking for this building, DO NOT PARK ON GRASS you'll get a violation by security there. The pools had various crowds of people throwing beer cans everywhere, pouring beer in the pool, and getting into arguments with police intervention. Cleanliness was average. Tiny "balcony" with tiny table and a view of a bush looking directly at pool. Overall, the owners are great and for the money I guess it's worth it. I won't go back, I want a view and less drama.

Room was clean and well organized. Staff I interacted with were excellent. Host was helpful in making sure arrangements were handled. Everything was just as advertised and facility was well kept and clean. Couldn’t ask for a better trip again host was very helpful and communicated everything in detail.

Nice getaway

Enjoyed our stay! Property manager was very easy to communicate with and helpful during the stay! We had difficulty logging onto wifi and Steve was very responsive and helpful. Our only (tiny) inconvenience, was we brought our Roku stick with us, but could not plug it in due to the way the tv was mounted.
