Lagoon Front Paradise - High Bar Harbor

Enjoy this amazing custom built lagoon front home in High Bar Harbor. Bring your boat, water toys, and fishing poles. This elegant home has 5 bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms, and the ability to sleep up to 12 people. It features 9 ft high ceilings, an open floor plan, an elevator with dual entry for 3 floors, hardwood flooring, marble baths and two gas fireplaces located in the master bedroom and the living room. The gourmet kitchen features beautiful granite counter tops, a viking range, double wall ovens, and a large island with 4 bar stools. The master bedroom is on the top floor with a king sized bed, sliding doors to the deck, and a private bathroom featuring a Jacuzzi tub, separate shower, and a double vanity. The junior suite has a queen sized bed, sliding door to the deck, and a private bathroom. The third room is furnished with a king bed. This room also has sliding door access to the deck. The fourth room is furnished with two twin sized beds and twin sized trundle beds. The fifth room is furnished with a love seat and bunk bed. The bunk bed is a twin on top and full on the bottom.

Our home has a total of 3 decks (including a large roof top deck with beautiful views of the bay and lighthouse), a brand new bulkhead and dock, as well as a new outside shower. You will have access to 2 kayaks, 8 beach chairs and 8 beach tags. The garage is equipped with a ping pong table and refrigerator.

Our home is listed as pet friendly. We allow dogs, but no cats. There is a wonderful dog beach around the corner on bay 1/4 of a mile away.

Please note: The house is rented without linens and towels. Renters are advised to bring their own pillows, linens and towels. we do not have a gym with weights and the Peleton has been removed from the property.

Lovely Stay

Relaxing Family Vacation

Our nine people and dogs enjoyed this property for a week with plenty of space to spread out. Most evenings we dined together on the top level looking out over LBI. This was our fourth VRBO vacation in four different states. The house was as advertised with room to play games, do puzzles and play ping pong. Kayaking on the canal was fun too.

Annual LBI Family Vacation

We love this house for so many reasons. There’s enough room to accommodate all 11 of us and our dog. We eat together at the large dining table every night and discuss our day. It brings 3 generations of our family together, and cousins get reacquainted. The short morning walk to “How You Brewing” is a joy and the lagoon is fun to kayak on.

Annual LBI Family Vacation

We had 11 people in our group from ages 9 to 68, and there was plenty to do for everyone. There’s so much to do here that it was hard to get everyone to leave the house and go to the beautiful beach! The house is gorgeous, the lagoon is fun to kayak and swim in, and the garage game room entertained the younger group. We loved every minute here and plan on returning next summer. This is our 7th summer vacationing on LBI and this house was the best!

Great vacation with family

This is a beautiful family home close to the beach with decks facing the lagoon which provide a wonderful breeze while relaxing on the deck chairs. The rooftop deck is amazing and offers a spectacular view of sunsets! The house feels like home away from home with interesting decor throughout, plenty of room for everyone, multiple tvs, very comfortable beds, and a great game room on the lower level. The kitchen is great: well stocked with all cooking and dining needs, large counter space and a large dining table that accommodated all of us. My family loved our stay in this lovely home! It was perfect!

Another amazing week!

This is the second time we have stayed at this property and it was once again AMAZING. House is gorgeous - both indoor and the outdoor space. Hight Bar Harbor is a special place on LBI and this house showcases that. We have stayed in LBI for 20 years and this is by far the best property we stayed at. Recommend with no reservations. As a after the fact, we left items at the house after we left and the host readily agreed to ship them to us. A perfect stay start to finish with lots of memories made..

Great Large Gathering LBI Rental

This was the perfect house for us. We had privacy when we wanted it and lots of room for together-time. Kids enjoyed the crab traps, Foosball and ping pong tables, and kayaks. My suggestions are to provide directions for the main TV. Sound bar audio didn't work for Xfinity and we couldn't get around it to just use the TV audio. No big deal. We watched the Phillies in the garage TV. Other suggestion is to remove all pillows, towels, etc., since we had to rent linens. Was a bit confusing keeping the propery linens from those we rented. I highly recommend this property. We had a terrific time and thank the owners for the memories we made in their home.

Great house

We had a very nice time at this location. We especially enjoyed the available activities - roof top corn hole and kayaks. The house was very comfortable and had a wonderful kitchen. The amenities in the house were fantastic AC was not as cool in the living room/kitchen as it was in the rest of the house. As far as cleanliness, hardwood floors were swept but need a cleaning.. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood.

Beautiful & relaxing family vacation

Pros - well equipped kitchen with many essential cooking accessories and spices!! Extremely comfortable beds, chairs and tags provided, and furniture with no beach/rental/sandy odors! Cons - steep narrow ramp unable for us to carry kayaks/canoes to dock. Elevator did not stop on 2nd floor to accommodate a quest with stair limitations.

Family Celebration

Our 2-week stay in High Bar Harbor was fantastic! The house and bedrooms suited our needs, and the kitchen was well-appointed for us to celebrate my mom’s 90th birthday with family. The house was very clean, and the location is very convenient. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful! Especially from the upper deck. We rented linens and towels, as we live across the country. That was very easy to do through the company that Marita and Neill recommended. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful home on the lagoon.

High Bar Harbor Stay

Overall we were very pleased with this property. The owners were very quick to answer any and all questions I had. The elevator was a huge convenience to me with somewhat limited mobility (no way could I have climbed the stairs multiple times a day) and I was grateful that it worked fine. The rooms were all bright and airy with much sunlight. The appliances in the kitchen all worked well. Be aware that there is a Keurig coffee maker so make sure to bring appropriate pods. The kitchen was well equipped with ample dishes and items for cooking/baking needs. Bedrooms were extremely comfortable and will easily accommodate a large group (we had 7, but could easily have had 4-5 additional). The lagoon gives easy access for fishing and/or kayaking, both of which members of our group enjoyed. The only "glitch" we experienced was that toward the end of our visit there was a problem with the A/C on the 3rd floor (living level) and it got extremely hot. I contacted the owners who were very quick to respond and a repair company was sent out the same day, but the problem could not be resolved until the next day. My only suggestions are: (1) perhaps additional deck furniture might be added to the deck on the 3rd floor - there are two chairs there (which is where we congregated every evening), although the roof deck had some additional furniture, as did the outdoor patio on the ground floor; (2) the cleaning crew did a fair job of cleaning the property before our arrival, but we did find a few areas that did not appear to be cleaned well (sand under a couple of the beds and a half-peeled dried-up orange behind a chair). This, of course, is NOT the fault of the owners, but should be brought to the attention of the cleaners. We would definitely stay there on a future visit.

Luxurious house in High Bar Harbor

We loved our 4 weeks here. This house is perfectly located near Viking Village, an old fishing village, complete with a fresh seafood market and produce stand. Cute shops and coffee place too! All walking distance. Great dog beach closeby as well! The kitchen was a chef’s dream and the beds were very comfortable! Ping pong table and TV in the garage, a great place to hang out in, especially for teens. Excellent response from owner if we had any questions or concerns.

Great Family Vacation!

The house is very nicely located at the north of LBI. It’s roomy and comfortable. Kitchen is very well equipped. Beautiful sunrise and sunsets at the rooftop. Fishing from the dock was also great for my kids. Definitely worth a repeat next year!
