We built Gogorobi Villa in 2010. For us it is a heavenly haven away from the buizzy Dutch life. A few hours fly and you're in another world, delicious! The name refers to the Gogorobi instrument that slavechildren made of a dry gourd. The sound made by the ​​Gogorobi was very spooky and that is why it was named musik di zumbi (zombi-music). The slave owners feared the sound.
Curacao is an island with a rich history and a beautiful present. You are very welcome to come and enjoy this Island which has a special place in our hearts. We believe you will experience the same. Enjoy!
