Why they chose this property
Bacvice is one of the most prestigious residential neighbourhoods of Split. Quiet and family-friendly, it is within easy walking distance (3 minutes) from one of the city's most popular and legendary beaches, Bacvice. Every spring with the arrival of the low tides this sandy beach turns into the local Copacabana, teeming with deck chairs and people basking in the sun, or playing the most beloved beach game, a local invention called “picigin”. Several beach bars serving various refreshments and a children's playground nearby make Bacvice the city’s favourite open-air living room during the day, while at night it transforms into the centre of the nightlife action, with several night clubs popular among the youth.
What makes this property unique
From the property you can take a short and pleasant walk to the main seaside promenade, locally known as Riva, and Diocletian's palace, the city's most significant landmark and a UNESCO-protected site, as well as other interesting sights: the Pazar green market, the National Theatre building, the Fruit Square with the statue of Marko Marulic, "the Father of Croatian Language and Literature", made by Ivan Mestrovic, one of the most famous Croatian sculptors, etc.
