This chalet met our extended family's needs perfectly. There were 12 of us (6 adults and 6 kids four and under). Lots of space. The big island in the kitchen worked well to make and serve the food. The kitchen was well equiped. We made several day trips all within a 25 minute drive. We would stay here again.

Great getaway spot. Beautiful home, space outside for fire. Tons of board games and books. Close to hikes and the tunnels. Wifi went out for 24 hrs but no complaints as it allowed us guests to be in the present moment with each other and within nature.

Super well-equipped with kitchen and bathroom necessities, as well as entertainment. You can tell there is a lot of love, thought and care put in this property and family, and it reflected so during our stay. Some Vrbo/AirB&B places feel like an investment property money grab where trendy decor is placed and kitchens are unstocked, this felt like a family friend letting us into their space who we have known for years. Would 100% stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Don's rental. Don is great to work with and answers all questions promptly. Sunshine Valley is a great location to stay during the winter months and so close to Vancouver. The kitchen is well stocked to allow for our family to cook delicious meals and enjoy each others company. If the opportunity arises again, we would pick Don's place again and again!

This is a quiet family oriented area that perfectly fit our family. It’s close to good hikes and Manning Park. The home is well fitted out with kitchen items and linens throughout.

Communication with Don was excellent! We didn’t have power for the first couple of days of our stay and Don stayed in contact as best he could given cell service was very limited without power. The place is lovely and spacious, with a woodfire place we were very happy to have and a BBQ that helped without the power. A great place to be located if you want to go skiing at Manning Park or get adventurous with skiing touring on the Coquihalla.

Wonderful getaway

Don's house is a beautiful home in a great location for a weekend getaway or ski vacation. It is spacious and warm and has an ideal layout for a large number of guests. We will be back!

Canada Day quad trip

Our group really enjoyed Sunshine Valley and this spacious property. There happened to be a free concert while we were there as well. Don was quick to answer some initial questions and from then on there were absolutely no issues.

Fabulous chalet

This place is perfect for large groups. 5 bedrooms, huge kitchen and living room. Lots of space for people to relax. The host replied in a timely manner to my questions. Location is good. Highly recommend.
