Absolutely the best spot! Area was safe and easily accessible by car to all places Authentic Flavors restaurants was by far our favorite place to eat and walking distance from this rental! Morning parrots and iguanas and even saw a horned beetle!!!

Fantastic Property

This home was lovely and spacious for our family of 5 - comfortable beds, AC, and well appointed! We loved having coffee on the back patio listening to the birds and the plunge pool was refreshing after a day exploring the town. Easy walk (be prepared for the uphill back home) to Cahal Pech and wonderful local restaurants. Great communication with the host - we can’t wait to return!

Good landing spot

The house was a good landing spot to adventure out. It wasn’t the cleanest and we had issues with leaking roof in rain storm and power going out but the property manager was top notch in communication and getting it all looked at. Beds were great and clean linens.

Nice Place & Great Location

Great place with heavy security. Not sure how needed it was but made us feel safe. Suite was very large and accommodating. Nice small pool was great. Would happily stay again :)

The property management team was very helpful. The home was an excellent condition and clean. I like that the neighborhood is quiet. Tour companies will pick you up from this location, which is also very nice. Overall, our stay was fantastic and we plan on staying at La Rana in the future.

Great location

The house was nice, big, and comfortable for our stay. The barbed fencing all around the house was a little concerning but we felt safe. I recommend using the Vacasa concergie to book tours.

3 night stay in San Ignacio

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this property; everything was very clean - the kitchen, bathrooms, linens, pool. Excellent views of surrounding jungle and great location to explore Mayan ruins and do some cave tubing that wasn’t terribly close, but not a bad drive. It seems like a bit of a stretch to say so many things are within walking distance of this property, as the property sits at the very top of a long steep road. I love to walk, but not once did I venture to walk up that road. Check in process was easy and we felt very safe at this property. I would stay here again if going back to San Ignacio!

Fantastic home in San Ignacio!

This house was clean and well-kept, with all of the essentials we needed for our stay. Group of 5 stayed very comfortably, with plenty of room to spread out. It was great to be within walking distance of downtown San Ignacio, but away from the hustle. The serene back yard and swimming pool were an added bonus to our stay. We kept talking about how we wouldn't hesitate to stay in this home again -- it was wonderful!

Beautiful home and great location

This is a beautiful home with great ac and a pool. It is walking distance to a store but we usual drove because of the heat. The kitchen was nice and we cooked several meals there. The pool was a great place to cool down and relax after a day out. Plenty of room for a family. Also, in nice area and feels secure and safe. Great place. Highly recommend.

Nice place!

Overall a very nice place to stay with family. Quiet neighborhood, away from hustle and bustle of down town. The kitchen has everything you could need, and the patio/pool was a plus. The beds are all very hard, so not great for someone with a bad back. The only real negative was the workers next door that were using the outdoor tap from the property for whatever they were doing. They were working every day we were there, and one day they turned off the incoming water line to the house and didn’t turn it back on so we woke up to no water one morning and had to trace out the problem. They also blared music pretty loud for hours another morning, and also were sawing wood on our front step and left sawdust everywhere for us to track through the house another day. It would have been nice to have a heads up about the construction, otherwise a great property.

Great house, had some communication issues

Home was great. Rooms were nice sized, AC worked in all rooms except kitchen(on site staff said that was being fixed soon).Bathrooms worked well, beds were comfy, kitchen had everything we needed.The pool was great for 20 hr at the beginning of our 6 day stay. After that, the pool turned green, hazy and slimy. Local staff was on it immediately doing everything they could to make the pool usable. It was not fixed until 4 hrs before we left, after shocking, draining, refilling and restocking.I contacted local management and asked if we could have a discount because the pool was not usable during our stay.Local manager was very responsive, apologized and msged me a few hrs later that, yes, they would refund 10%.Since then there has been no refund. I have reached out 4 times and Vacasa has different answers as to when they will know what to do. Everything from less than a day to we have no clue.Local help was super kind to have on site and the house was great, but it would be nice to be reimbursed for the non usable pool that we specifically booked that house to use.(Thanks for listening to my rant and my first negative review)

Best Belize Jungel location

This Saint Ignacio home was perfect. It was a few minutes from down town, walking distance to Cahal Pech Runins (my favorite so far) and short drive to Xunantunich. Perfect location for restaurants, hiking, butterfly farms, horseback riding, and ruins. What else could we want. We loved the pool, having 3 bedrooms with amazing beds. The master bed was so big my husband said it was too big because at times he couldn't find me at night. Very clean home and great service of property manager. The coffee maker was broken and she promptly brought us a new one. However, you should know this is a Vacassa home that uses Vrbo platform as well as their own. The platforms do not match as well and we were charged several times and had to show on our credit card statement that we had already paid. That was a slight pain but Vacasa took care of it. Otherwise loved this wonderful home.

Home away from home?

The location was great, nice pool. When we arrived the AC in 2 out of the 3 bedrooms did not work. Vacasa did get someone out the next day to try to repair the AC but the fix only lasted about a day. The internet did not work for the first day but magically it began working for the rest of our stay. When showering the hot water would run out after about 5 minutes due to the house having a tiny hot water tank. No hot water would run in the kitchen. The kitchen was pretty minimally stocked. Only a one serve coffe maker that was a little tricky to figure out.
