What a beautiful location for our family getaway.The host were incredibly accommodating, the location is perfect and by the end of the stay the Bears became the ultimate daily attraction :-)

The 6 of us (3 couples) had a short stay, 2 nights. Each couple had a separate bathroom. The layout worked fairly well-- 1 bedroom on the main floor, 1 bedroom upstairs, 2 bedrooms downstairs. The place was comfortably laid out, with ample kitchen space and facilities. The back decks looked into a forested area.Be aware that the residential areas of Gatlinburg are spread over mountains, with lots of steep hills and hilly curves. We definitely needed our GPS's to find the place. Fortunately, the streets are well-paved and in good condition. Likewise, finding supermarkets and restaurants are also up-and-down expeditions. Fortunately, it was only a quick downhill 15-minute trip to get to the Great Smokies National Park.

Great property and hosts! Beautiful home with lots of room and amenities. Bear sightings and visits were numerous, Community was nice with excellent pool (we only visited 1 of 3). We would definitely book with Stephan and Kate again.

We loved staying at the Bear Sanctuary in Chalet Village. It has 4 bedrooms with 4 kings size beds, plus more sleeping spaces. We loved sitting outside on the rocking chairs talking and looking for bears. We probably saw over 35 bears, they are very docile but we recommend locking your car doors and be sure to remove everything from your cars. We used pinesol on the wheels because the bears don't like the smell and that worked. This is a perfect cabin for a family who want to be close to town, but not to close and can enjoy the peaceful outdoors. We will be back!

Our family of 7 adults really enjoyed our 4 night stay. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife & having the close proximity to GSMNP. It was also great to have ample parking and bathrooms! Many enjoyed the hot tub (even in the rain), the rockers on the back deck & a fully stocked kitchen as we did cook every day. The master bed is made for back & stomach sleepers as it is very firm, but some of the others were softer. Do plan to bring any consumables as noted —especially if you plan to cook (plastic wrap, baggies, dishwasher & dish soap, storage containers, etc.). Stephan was a good and responsive host and was very attentive when we needed some help. We would recommend this property and host.

This cabin was describe to a T!!! It was perfect and the kitchen had enough pots, pans, & dishes to cook & feed an army. The beds were amazing. (I actually bought the exact mattress thebday we left) We will definitely be staying here again.

The cabin is decorated perfectly and very nice. Our trip was four couples celebrating a birthday and this was the perfect place to be. We were able to cook fabulous meals, play games, and just relax.

My family rents in the Smoky's a few times per year & have for the last 25 yrs. I rented this for my wife, daughter, nieces for a girls weekend. They all said it was fantastic. This was the most well stocked, clean cabin we've ever rented according to my wife. Stephan & Kate were very responsive and very open on communication. Only downfall was cell service was sketchy & that's not necessarily a bad thing. Would absolutely rent from them again.

Great short Gatlinburg stay!

Loved our stay in this cabin! Spacious and comfy bedrooms, very clean, great location, and great host. We were only there two nights but saw bears nearby each morning. Would stay here again!

The cabin was clean and fully stocked with kitchen stuff. The hot tub was at a perfect temperature and very peaceful on the back deck. We got to see a family of bears every night. The host responds in a timely manner. When we first got there the hot tub wasn’t hot. I messaged the host and he responded soon after stating it’s because the cleaning service just cleaned it that morning and filled it with cold water, so give it a few hours. Would recommend this cabin to others
