The Space:

Chrissy’s Cottage 1 is a charming, mermaid-inspired 1-bedroom, 1-bath retreat that comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests. Recently, we made a few updates to the cottage to comply with new regulations—which included the removal of the full kitchen and washer/dryer. To help you plan accordingly, we’ve added updated photos so you can see the current layout, including the revised kitchen area (which no longer includes a refrigerator, oven, or laundry appliances).There is still private entrances, perfect for the couple you’re traveling with who enjoy having their own space or the in-laws who came along and need some private space for themselves. Ideal for 2 people but can easily accommodate 4, there is a queen bed in the bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living area.



Chrissy’s Cottage 2 is relaxing 3-bedroom, 2 bath, home which sleeps 6. This cottage is equipped with a full kitchen, high capacity washer/dryer and decorated with a coastal theme. The master bedroom has a king mattress and the other two bedrooms have queens. We also supply a queen air mattress which can be set up in the living room . There are two full bathrooms, one has a standard tub/shower combo while the second bathroom has a shower only (not tub) and is conveniently located with quick access to the pool/patio.



This listing is to rent both cottages together. The price shown is the total price for both cottages.



All of the bedrooms are equipped with comfortable mattresses, Samsung smart TV’s with cable, a luggage rack, a dresser and a closet for you to unpack and feel at home. In each cottage you will find beach towels and a cooler for your use along with beach chairs, umbrellas and other beach accessories.



Let's talk about the pool. It's large, it's deep it's heated and its fun! Located right outside your back door (literally) is the pool patio which is surrounded by tropical landscaping with palm trees and agave plants. There are two outdoor patio tables to accommodate all of your friends and family along with super comfy chaise lounge chairs for you to enjoy.



Spend your days soaking up the sun at Siesta Key Beach & your night’s poolside overlooking the lush, private backyard. The evening is a perfect time for grabbing a glass of wine and heading out to the patio to star gaze at the thousands of stars. If you fancy eating outside, there is a Webber grill for you to cook up some of the fish you caught on that fishing charter you went on earlier in the day.



The coastal decor of this home creates a bright airy ambiance that will allow you to relax as soon as you walk through the door. You are finally on vacation!

Guest Access:

As a guest, you can enjoy full access to both of the cottages. This includes the flat-screen TVs, a private pool, the backyard, free wifi, the Weber grill, beach accessories, one kitchen, two living rooms and free parking. Self-check-in is a breeze using the Smart lock. A custom code will be provided prior to arrival.



The Neighborhood:

Located in a prime, centralized area that allows you to discover everything Sarasota has to offer! Enjoy easy access to Siesta Key’s pristine beaches, St. Armand’s Circle and Lido Beach, Downtown Sarasota’s Farmers Market, fishing, museums, shopping malls, nature preserves, botanical gardens, golf courses,. SRQ Airport, Hospitals, Arlington Park, Southside Village (stores, restaurants and bars), Nathan Benderson Park. We are also close to the quaint Amish community of Pinecraft and close to grocery stores and many wonderful restaurants.



Wanting to get out of the city for a few hours, Explore the local wildlife by driving out to Myakka State Park, 30 minutes out east to where you will see all wildlife you could imagine. Make sure to take the boat tour and climb the lookout tower.



Check out Big Cat Habitat, they have tigers, lions, bears, ligers and occasionally will have a sloth.



The sports fan of the group will love being only 5 to 10 minutes away from the baseball stadium, where the Orioles play their spring training games.



Getting Around:

Recommend that you have a car, however uber is also readily available. There is also a bus stop near by if you prefer that mode of transportation.
