Retired couple residing in western Montana half of the year and winters in Blairsville, GA loving snow that does not stick or require shoveling and offers a natural forested setting not far from small community. Love resort living but far from maddening crowds.
Why they chose this property
We are close enough to major services and yet live in a quiet natural forested neighborhood. Have one close neighbor where crossing their property on road easement is required. Booking 3 nites is required. Will offer a quote for two nites if requested prior to booking with higher nitely rate. Will consider 3-6 mo rental agreement Jan 2024-June 2024. Request a quote.
What makes this property unique
Close to so many attractions for all seasons with delightful state, federal and local parks geared to families. Hike the Appalachian Trail, visit Vogel State Park and hike many other trails and or waterfall areas. Play and walk the dog at Meeks Park, boat on Nottely Lake, fish our many lakes, rivers and streams. Visit the famous Helen, GA (18 miles from cabin) or shop at the famous Alexanders Dept. Store. Like BBQ? Try Smokin Jim's up the road from cabin.
