We had a wonderful time at Westview. It was clean and comfortable. The view of the area was amazing. The property had everything anyone would need for a stay.
Westview was very nice, everyone loved the large foyer for preparing for the day's activities, etc.Host was extremely helpful and friendly.Would definitely visit again.
We enjoyed the cabin immensely. We loved how comfortable everything was and especially the fox that visited a couple of nights.
The backyard swing and mountain views were amazing! Beautiful cabin and beautiful area.
Loved the place and can't wait to go back next year. Amazing views, great space and the wildlife (moose) around the cabin was so cool. Thanks for the great memories.
Very nice log cabin with ample room for our family. Place was clean and well stocked. First night's sleep was interrupted by ATV enthusiasts returning from the trail really late, but the rest of the evenings were nice.

Thanks Geoff for your review. Sorry about the late ATV folks. That was the first complaint we have had about late riders who stay at other places. But really appreciated your staying with us and the information you gave us. Hope you have had a great trip. Mike

Thank you for your comments. We were unaware of a broken door or window and will be working on fixes ASAP. Also the first negative comment we have had on the mattresses, but will look into this. Mike
The cabin was great for our family, besides not realizing all bedrooms were upstairs (we had grandma along and a toddler). The view was amazing with many destinations a short drive away. Mike was very responsive to all our questions and made it as easy as possible for us.
The cabin was far more than we expected. It had a beautiful view of the mountains and was very clean. We enjoyed every minute if our vacation. We drive to Jackson one day and to Yellowstone another day. We also spent one day visiting Dubois. We went to the new Military vehicle Museum in Dubois and loved it. The tour was so interesting and we'll put together. We enjoyed our vacation very much!!

Thank you so much for the comments. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. And you are correct, the museum is extremely well put together and interesting.
The cabin was exactly what we needed. Enough space for our large family. The view was nothing short of amazing! We seen moose, antelope and mule deer right up to the window. The owners were very nice and I may have pestered them more than usual, Mike was wonderful to deal with!! Locals in Dubois are soooo nice as well. We want to make this spot our yearly vacation spot!!

Thank you for the very nice review. You were great guests to work with. You are welcome back anytime. Mike
The cabin was very nice and is actually set up for about 11 people but with only 2 family baths and one extra sink. There were only 2 of us, so it was big for us and initially, I didn't find it to be too homey but after we had been there a while, we settled in nicely. We saw mule deer in the yard every day and even some cows on 2 of the days, being herded by a dog. The owner, Mike was very nice and helpful and we enjoyed the Dubois area. The cabin was fairly secluded which we really liked but it did take us about 30 minutes to get into town and to the Military Vehicle Museum, which is awesome. The house had all the kitchenware that a person could need but felt a little cluttered with personal possessions of the owners, such as extra bookshelves, cabinets, etc. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay and think it would be a good place for a large family to meet and to do activities, particularly in the winter time.
The cabin is on top of a mountain, with beautiful views. Its actually a very large cabin than what the pictures may suggest with 3 bedrooms (one kept locked) and a large den area with 4 beds all on second floor.. Bathrooms are also boast a pretty large area for a cabin. Well stocked kitchen and bathrooms with essentials.. Equal distance to Tetons and Yellow stone 1 hour so convenient for seeing both
Loved the view at back! Gorgeous!! Only problem was that I didn’t know all the beds were upstairs & my husband & I have knees that aren’t to good anymore. Overall, really enjoyed our stay!
Fantastic location with incredible views. Very clean, cute cabin with everything we needed. Would definitely recommend to others.

Jim Smith built this cabin in 1998. Mike Thompson purchased a share in 2016. We are both retired and absolutely love the area.
Why they chose this property
If you want to experience mountain living, this is a great place. Picturesque both in and out. Located in a subdivision with large lots and plenty of space between neighbors, you are guaranteed privacy while at the same time able to meet others if you wish. Rentals for snowmobiles and UTVs are available from Union Pass Rentals and Crooked Creek Resort, both located up on the mountain.
What makes this property unique
The view to the west is amazing. The pictures do not do it justice. The neighbors in the subdivision are also very nice and willing to assist others in a pinch. Often, fox, deer (year round) and moose (especially in winter) will come right into the yard. The cabin is at 8500 feet elevation and the stars are beautiful at night. The cabin was built to accommodate snowmobilers and UTV riders. It has a large entry foyer for changing into, and storing helmets, shoes and outer clothing. It can easily accommodate groups up to 10 people without being cramped.
