PRIVATE SALTWATER POOL and major renovation in 2019!
From THOMAS Beach Vacations... the PELICAN'S PERCH, just the right place for your family's special summer vacation in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This classic beach cottage has FREE WIFI so you can stay connected (if you wish). Located on a channel of the scenic Cherry Grove Inlet, this popular home has a wonderful view of the salt marsh and its meandering creeks. Relax in one of the porch rockers and savor the serenity.

THE WELL-SUPPLIED KITCHEN gives you the option of casual in-home meals or dining out at some of the excellent local restaurants. You can even enjoy a backyard cookout with the charcoal or gas grill.

HAVE HOURS OF FUN in the private un-heated saltwater pool or just relax on the sundeck. And, you'll be just a few short blocks from the beach.

SLEEPING UP TO EIGHT, the Pelican's Perch has: BR1-1 Queen; BR2-1 Queen; BR3-1 King; BR4-1 Twin Over Double Bunk Bed. Note: Bunks beds are not suggested for adults. This is a non-smoking vacation accommodation; motorcycles and/or trailers are not allowed.

Great Vacation

After reading previous reviews, we were a little skeptical, but everything was perfect. It was clean, our beds were made and the pool was awesome. Thomas Realty has always been a go to for our vacations. Thanks for an awesome experience!

DIRTY!!!!!!!!!!!

First day there, linens were left outside in totes. We were unsure if they were clean or dirty. It wasn't until my boyfriend started handing them out to the kids he realized they were dirty! Because it was too late to have linens delivered, I washed ALL the quilts so we could just sleep on top of them for the night. The dyer did not work well so the quilts were still wet. The bathrooms smelled like urine really bad. After looking at the toilets we realized they were never cleaned!! There was still urine stains on the back of the seat and also around the bottom!! The one toilet had throw up splashed all down the sides and even around the petal sink. The sink still had dried up toothpaste in it. Everything was dusty so you know they are not cleaning as advertised. The kitchen cabinets are VERY outdated and very dirty inside. I ended up going out buying cups and utensils. Second night there, we noticed roaches coming out from under the fridge. GROSS!!! I took pictures and management had someone come out that day. Two days in the row we had air conditioner issues. They did send someone out to fix it. On the positive side, management was excellent. They were very concerned about my complaint and acted on it right away. The location was very close to the beach. The pool guy was there every other day and was very kind. My kids enjoyed fishing from the dock. I would have loved to have made this our every year spot for vacation but I had never experienced such a dirty place like this before. Sad!!

Poor cleanliness/great location

This house was in a perfect location, a short walk to the beach and right on the canal. Check in was a breeze and staff were very friendly. Unfortunately the house was not clean, and the pool was dirty with a green ring around the sides. But the rental company was quick to try and help resolve the issues. Bring your own cleaning supplies and pillows/blankets because everything is stained, even the outdoor furniture. It seemed like a college party house. Overall we enjoyed our stay, but my family will not be returning to this property.
