You will fall in love with this pristine home because of its location, charm and views. It is perfect for families, couples and friends. The enchanting lake of Montepulciano, which is itself a protected Natural Reserve, is omnipresent and a few minutes away on foot. The home is immersed in nature, away from crowds and large cities. It overlooks the lake, Umbrian and Tuscan hills and has lovely views throughout. The indoor fireplace is an extra pleasure. The decor is country chic and where possible, all is made from local artisans. The entire home is freshly renovated with all new fixtures. White washed real wood flooring, central heating and AC throughout home. As you enter the red restored front doorway, there is a living space with a red velvet couch and window with lake view. To the left you will find one room with new kitchen, dining and living area combined. The dining area has a table that sits 6 but can be expanded to sit 10/12. The kitchen is fully equipped and has new dish washer, stovetop and oven. The living area has a restored original sofa bed from the early 1900's, arm chairs and a fireplace. In this room there are three glass double doors that open up to a large covered patio for outdoor dining or leisure and outdoor furniture in beautiful wrought iron. From the entrance area and moving to the rear of the house you will find a newly renovated bathroom with shower and natural stone shower flooring. Next to bathroom is the master bedroom with one queen bed, mirror, armour, nightstands. The suite has double doors that access the backyard and view of lake. From the suite you can enter the laundry room which also has access to backyard. Taking the stairs to the second floor you will find a smaller bathroom with shower, natural stone flooring and Italian mosaic tile. The second floor also has two more bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed and is larger and the other bedroom is smaller with two twin beds. Each bedroom has nightstands, mirror and armoire. Every room including the bathroom has an amazing view. Upstairs you can also go through double glass doors past the workstation area and go directly to the large panoramic terrace which overlooks the yard, the lake and amazing sunsets! All outdoor furniture handmade locally in wrought iron with handcrafted cushions. The large upstairs terrace was what made us fall in love with this property. Its views of the countryside and sunsets over the lake will truly entice you.
We understand the concerns of our guests and can assure you that the villa and all of its components (bed sheets, towels, kitchen ware, bathrooms) are thoroughly disinfected and cleaned prior to the arrival of each guest. We take pride in this.
The towns of Cortona, Montepulciano, Castiglion del Lago, Chiusi are 10-20 minutes away for excursions. There are many nearby wineries as well to visit.
