The property owner lacked knowledge on the COVID-19 requirements that renters/tenants had to comply in order to stay in the property. The property owner assumed without research that COVID-19 tests are to be taken 7 days prior to the check-in date and this is what was communicated to me and I complied and had the test done 7 days before I was to check-in. Fast forward to less than 48 hours prior to the check-in date, I was informed by the property owner that they made a mistake and assumed that tests done 7 days before are okay and I had to take another RT-PCR test no later than 48 hours before the check-in date/time. The information was passed on to me with less than 48 hours before the check in date. Needless to say, I had to scramble and find another place to stay because I will not be able to comply with the requirement.
