Direct Ocean Front, 1bd/1BA Condo in Kahana Maui - Awesome Views!

Come visit our large corner oceanfront condo with fantastic views of Molokai and Lanai. You can watch spectacular sunsets and enjoy whale watching from your private lanai. Conveniently located between Kaanapali and Kapalua, with a salt water pool! The condo is ideal for celebrating that special occasion and all that Maui has to offer.

Unit has been updated with new refrigerator, new range, new dishwasher, new carpet, new blackout curtains in the bedroom and main room, and a new couch. Both elevators, one close to our unit, have just been completely refurbished and made very quiet, so either one will quickly bring you up to the third floor!

We have a large bedroom with a king-sized bed and the kitchen is completely equipped. The new couch is queen-sized sleeper sofa. The condo includes beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, cable TV, WiFi, and Bluetooth CD player. The unit is an end unit which provides 50 more square feet than the non-end units.

Kahana Reef is located near some of the best beaches in world, and less than 10 minutes away from award winning golf courses like Kapalua and Kaanapali. There are many great restaurants and shopping nearby, and it's only a few miles to Kaanapali, Napili or Kapalua.

Note that bikes, surfboards, paddle-boards, kayaks are not allowed in the unit under any circumstances. There is a bike rack and board rack at the north end of the property and you can lock your bike/board to the rack during your stay. Please observe no shoes/sandals rule while inside condo, and please leave the window louvers open to the patio.

We apologize, the unit is not currently ADA equipped.

Note: This condo is to be strictly occupied by no more than 2 overnight guests. If it is determined that there were more than 2 overnight guests during anytime of the registered guest's occupancy, the registered guest will forfeit their $750 deposit and be charged an additional $100/night per additional guest, plus an additional $200 cleaning fee, on top of the standard $160 cleaning fee. We reserve the right to charge up to $750 to your credit card if there is any damage to the property or items are missing.

Beautiful ocean view!

This centrally located condo was perfect for our visit to Maui. The lanai ocean view was awesome for morning coffee, afternoon relaxation and evening wine watching the sunset. It's everything we were looking for!

Oceanfront with magnificent view of Molokai

Although we had some wild Kona winds and rain during our stay, the unit itself was as described and quiet. Great complex for couples.

Beautiful Sunsets

I can only imagine what views this place has during whale season, but my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay right on the water. The sunsets were outstanding and well worth having dinner on the lanai. We definitely want to return!

Great location with a beautiful sunset view

This is our second time we stayed in this condo. The condo is clean and has new appliances. The sunset view is to die for. Just grab your favorite tropical drink and watch the sunset. The adjacent beach is just steps away and quiet place to relax. We will definitely stay here again!

Great location

The condo location was very convenient for everything we wanted to experience and the unit location in the building was perfect, allowing for privacy and beautiful views from the balcony. We saw whales everyday and enjoyed the sunsets over Lanai. The “winter” temperatures were comfortable with the windows open and the fans going.

Great location to watch the sunsets

We enjoyed our stay at Kahana Reef. The condo was very comfortable and well-equipped. The little beach right next store was nice for swimming; the water was calm and easy to get in/out. There are a few good eateries within 5 minutes walking distance. Grocery store and other shopping/dining options a short drive away. We enjoyed some great sunsets from the balcony; I would love to stay here again!

AWESOME STAY

this was not our first stay here we love it here and will be returning. We love Maui and this place makes it even more enjoyable with its spectacular views and the sound of the waves. The sunsets are so beautiful if you come during whale season you will get tired of shouting Whale lol I hope you all enjoy it as much as us and the owners are very nice and accommodating people you won’t be dissappointed. Mahalo for sharing your paradise with us ❤️

Fantastic views and location

This is a perfect 1 bedroom apartment with an amazing view and so close to the water. When you're sitting at the lanai you feel that you're at the water. Turtles came to the seawall every evening. You're minutes away from Napili, Lahaina and all the great beaches in the area. Highly recommend it. We will be back.

Lovely Maui getaway

We had a really lovely time at Mark’s condo in Maui. It was the perfect home base for our 5 night stay on the island. The location was great - right on the water (the sunsets are amazing!) and near some fun restaurants (we made several stops at Maui Brewing Co and the fish market down the road). Having the general store around the corner is a real plus as well. The only flaw was an extremely bright light that shone through the bedroom window all night with no way of blocking it making it a very bright sleep - but that can easily be fixed with a curtain.

Great location!

Great location and convenient to Lahaina. The view is stunning and we saw whales from the balcony! Definitely recommend! My only comments would be that we did have a little bit of an incident with the iron. The property manager reached out immediately when we contacted him and was easily accessible. The parking can also be a bit of a hassle, even with a parking pass. Overall though, very nice and we would love to visit again!

Fantastic ocean view condo

We loved everything about this place. Great location, lanai, walkable general store and gym, easy zip up or down the coat to iconic locations. A little warm but if you keep windows and sliding door to lanai open it feels good. People do talk loudly outside the bedroom starting around 7 am but that’s unavoidable and only happened a few of the mornings. Amazing value, would absolutely stay again! Thanks again to the hosts!

Best vacation ever

To arrive in Maui and find that million-dollar view was so exciting. We had a debacle with the keys on the way to our luau the first night (totally our fault) and the property owners were amazing and called us right back so that we were on time. There was plenty of room, we ate in a lot and there was everything under the sun to cook with. Bathroom had a great shower and the bed was super comfortable. They truly think of everything. The property was immaculate, quiet, so many beautiful things to do right there. If you are looking for a stay in Maui, you couldn't pick a better place. We didn't want to leave.

All about that view!

If you want that spectacular ocean water view from your condo living room and balcony this has it! Third of four floors, easy free on site parking with elevator, quiet complex a couple miles outside of the main noisy drag but not too far. Condo is a standard one bedroom with a big bed, pullout sofa in living area, standard kitchen and bathroom that you’d expect in a beach area condo. Kitchen has a few extras like toaster and blender and coffee maker which we used. Short walk to beach access. We would definitely stay again and recommend and wished we could stay longer this time.

Lovely ocean front condo

The Kahana Reef property is well taken care of boasting beautiful plants and flowers. It is equipped with laundry facilities that can be paid for with quarters or through an app. There is an ocean wall where turtles gather to eat the grasses growing. It was a great experience watching them. The condo itself was adequate. It is old and shows signs of wear and tear. The view of the ocean is obscured by two palm trees leaving about 50% of the view available. The location is great, and the owners are kind and available.

Great place but no air conditioning

This is a great location in Lahaina. Property was clean and had almost everything we needed. The only downside is there was not air conditioning or portable air unit. As such, the room was humid and hot most of the day and evening. The humidity and heat made it uncomfortable to sleep and relax in the room. Once the wind picked up from the beach and blew in colder air, the room cooled down…but that was often late at night.

Charging extra for turning A/C on??

This place is beautiful and perfect. My only complaint is that I was hit up for $25 per day extra for them to turn on the air conditioning. I find that very offensive. If I rented a car, would I be charged more for adding wheels?

Front row seats to an amazing sunset every night!

This condo has front row seats to an amazing sunset every night! It was so relaxing to watch with a glass of wine or favorite drink on the lanai. There are two palm trees in view but that only added to the Hawaiian paradise vibe. The condo was clean, very comfortable, and well-equipped. The ceiling fans and cross ventilation island breeze kept us quite comfortable without the need of A/C. The two beaches to the right were convenient for swimming, laying out, and relaxing. We saw many turtles every day on the reef in front and at the beach next door. It's only a short drive to Kahekili Beach park (w/free parking & facilities) to snorkel and swim in the clearest water in West Maui. We enjoyed our stay at Kahana Reef #309 and would book it again!

Amazing view

The place has an AMAZING view. We enjoyed sunsets on the patio several days. A few minor issues: The main issue was there is no AC and it gets hot. The other main issues was the checkout process which was too involved for a large cleaning fee, including taking out the trash to the dumpsters. There were also a lot of small ants present. Lastly, only 2 bath + 2 beach towels were provided and there is no onsite laundry machines. I'd recommend providing more towels, stocking up the pantry with more species, and having more beach equipment like snorkels and fins for guests to use.

Quiet, good ocean view

Kahana Reef is a no-frills low-key affordable oceanfront condo. This condo was on the third floor, conveniently close to the one working elevator. The ocean view was just as shown by the photos. A good place to relax and enjoy the waves. A couple of points: 1. The unit does not have its own washer and drier. Instead there is a laundromat on site which takes quarters. There is also an app you can download to pay for the loads with a credit card. 2. The unit, like a lot of places in Hawaii, does not have AC. When we were there in May, there were sufficient breezes to keep the unit comfortable most of the time. That may be more of a challenge later in the summer.

A little disappointed

While this is a good location and the unit is right on the ocean the unit was grimy and most of the dishes were filthy. Half of the curtains in the bedroom were missing so light shone in all night; the ceiling fan in the bedroom was loud and needs an adjustment, and if there was no wind, the bedroom was far too warm without AC. It was unacceptably hot. The pool was also dirty. The unit was dated. It was very expensive and disappointing.

Full Frontal

The apartment is average with all your basic needs. It's not fancy. But, you won't care! It has everything you need and thoughtful items like beach chairs and extra pillows. It's all about the VIEW. The pictures do this view no justice. From your balcony, there is nothing but ocean in front of you far as you can see. You have to make an effort to see the other properties around you. The only thing blocking a tiny part of your view is a beautiful palm tree blowing in the breeze. You can't be mad at that. Walk down the stairs and the water is at your feet. There are a few other visitors hanging out, some cooking, some at the pool. But, there aren't many people because the property is private. This was a good value for the money and a great stay for a couple. I'm so happy we were here. We left Maui the day before the fires started. So, hopefully, everything here is still beautiful.
