Self-catering cottage with a private pool and a Nordic-style bath

Welcome to our countryside cottage, “DU COQ A L'ANE”<br>If you love nature and animals, we’d be delighted to welcome you to our rural cottage, “Du Coq à l'Ane”<br>Located in the heart of the Lauragais countryside, in the town of Saint Félix Lauragais, yet just a few minutes from Auriac-sur-Vendinelle, this former farmhouse has been restored and divided into two distinct living spaces: our primary residence and the rental unit.<br><br>A fenced-in outdoor living area of 1,400 m² is reserved for your use, featuring a secure swimming pool (8 m x 4 m), a bocce court, a children’s playground, and terraces.<br>Outdoor parking is available for your cars.<br><br>Accommodation: Sleeps 10 people<br><br>The property consists of a living room (25 m²), a fully equipped kitchen, and a 30 m² veranda.<br>Four bedrooms (9 to 12 m²) upstairs can each accommodate two people.<br>A fully equipped studio on the ground floor, attached to the residence but connected via the terraces, completes our accommodation options (sleeps two).<br>You will have access to two shower rooms and three separate bathrooms.<br>Extra beds can be added for up to two children.<br><br>Amenities:<br>The kitchen is fully equipped (oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, kettle, etc.).<br>A kitchen in the studio is also at your disposal.<br>A fridge-freezer and two small refrigerators allow you to keep your food fresh. <br>There is a wood-burning oven in the kitchen, but we advise against using it in the summer so as not to “heat up” the house, which stays cool.<br>On the patios: A barbecue and a plancha grill let you prepare delicious meals<br>The patios are equipped with dining tables and patio furniture. Around the pool, we provide lounge chairs and sun loungers.<br>Baby equipment: two high chairs, two travel cots, a baby bathtub, a playpen, and a safety gate are provided.<br><br>Laundry room: A washing machine and dryer are available<br><br><br>Linens: We can provide sheets, towels, and tea towels for a flat fee of 10€ per person per stay.<br><br>On-site games and recreation: Foosball, pétanque balls, a ping-pong table and paddles, Molky, board games, books, and comic books are available for your use.<br><br>End-of-stay cleaning is included in the service. However, we ask that you empty your trash tins, remove the sheets from the beds, and keep the accommodation in good condition throughout your stay.<br>Dishes must be washed and put away.<br><br>Pets: As the name of our residence suggests, we have animals on the property: dogs, cats, chickens, a cockerel, and a donkey all live here. They do not have access to your living space, but sounds can travel through the fences… and sometimes the cats do too.<br>Your pets are also welcome here, provided you keep them confined to your outdoor and indoor areas or walk them on a leash, and of course, prevent any damage.<br><br>The pool: Access is unrestricted but at your own risk. We ask that you complete the attached liability waiver.<br>We handle pool maintenance (water testing and cleaning with the robot), but we provide a skimmer for leaves <br>The hot tub: Seats 4 to 6 people from September 15 to June 15<br><br>Special notes: As in any old building, the floors creak… and the cockerel may decide to crow in the morning…<br>We have beehives in another part of our property.
