It was Nice, but I'm disappointed overall.
I really enjoy the Folly Beach side of HHI, but was frustrated with some things about the property. The overall unit was decorated cute, but I've given the management team some opportunity areas to fix, I hope they do.
The unit is on the 3rd floor. The unit is a short walk (.40 to half mile away from the beach), but it's across the road. It was never bad, but you are using the main public beach entrance. Again, not bad, but it can get busy. Folly Beach is pretty awesome though--highly recommend. Fiddler's Cove is a bit dated. The unit is cute and had an awesome pullout couch. They had chairs (we didn't use, but they are there), and beach toys, accessories, etc.
The unit has some weird storage for pots and pans, and I hope they upgrade these options, I gave them some suggestions.
They were not super communicative quickly as I've had in the past, bc it's run by a property management company, but I've had other companies get back quickly. I also left 2 pretty big items at this property--if you get to use a hair straightener and brush dryer (you're welcome), and this property was going to charge me $25 to just go look for it, that was not even a guarantee find-and then charge for shipping. After that experience, I realized that I am merely "just another person" and not a valued customer. I was willing to pay for shipping, but I will not rent from this company ever again. They did not care about me as a customer and I'm really disappointed.
