Incredible views on a private deck overlooking OTR and downtown! With a large backyard, a safe tight-knit community, and off street parking, it's perfect for couples & families who need a yard and space to stretch out. 1 mile to hospitals, the university and downtown! My decor is simple and easy with lots of natural tones and a mix of mid-century & nordic furniture with lush indoor plants. My place is a studio apartment with its own private deck on the bottom level of a 3.5 story duplex. Both apartments are completely separate except for the laundry room and they both have their own entrances. There is a single full bathroom. It has a living room area with a sofa bed, a queen size bed, a complete kitchen, a dining table, a private deck and huge windows overlooking downtown Cincinnati. I have a stocked kitchen with pots & pans, dishes, coffee maker and electric hot water pitcher for tea. I provide guests with Dr. Bronner's soap products & full coffee assortment. There are off street parking spaces and full access to the backyard. There is a laundry room shared with the 2 level apartment above this one. If you have a large group, be sure to rent the apartment above this one! You have access to the shared laundry room (shared with upper apartment) the studio apartment, parking spaces, the large backyard and the studio apartment's back porch! I'm available and on call whenever you need! It's not apparent when visiting the property, but there is an additional full basement below this apartment accessible by where I store the lawn mower and gardening supplies. You might see myself or my cleaner (Monica) coming out from below the deck to take care of the lawn or improving the building. I live in a rare, tight knit neighborhood made of 2 streets on the edge of Over the Rhine. The south and west directions are bordered by 30 foot retaining walls and the north is bordered by the steep bluffs of Mt. Bellevue. It's a mix of entrepreneurs, artists, designers, retirees, young families and students who live here for the incredible views of Cincinnati. The neighborhood is safe with a very active neighborhood watch. Neighbors are often walking their dogs or jogging by and will wave and greet you, it's a very lovely place! My place is convenient to both University of Cincinnati and Over the Rhine, as it lies in between both areas. FC Cincinnati games, University of Cincinnati, Findlay Market and the streetcar stop at Rhinegeist brewery are all within a 15 minute walk of my house. You can board the streetcar and take it all the way to the river to watch a Reds or a Bengals game or take it halfway to Washington Park. Ride sharing is very affordable and quick and most anything in Cincinnati is within a 5-10 minute drive.

Great place for a business traveler like myself. Super comfy bed with good bedding (thank you!!), and fun character. Host was a great communicator. No frills but had everything that was needed, including a coffee maker with coffee. Great to have the porch. I would definitely return!
We loved our stay here, it's amongst the more interesting and unique neighborhoods in which we've stayed. The historical markers around the block are informative, and the property itself was perfect for my wife, our dog and I. Very conveniently located with regards to the highway, OTR, and UC, we can’t wait to go back for more Cincinnati fun!
This property was perfect for a stay by my daughter and I for a weekend shopping trip. The studio was clean and appropriately appointed for two people. We took along our little corgi and it was so convenient to have the yard for her to run and do our business. The owner even provided poop bags to clean up after her and a tie out. The deck afforded an amazing view of the skyline an I spent my mornings out there with my coffee. We also enjoyed the deck at night with the skyline lit up. And I don’t want to forget to mention Monica who maintains and cleans the property. She was there one afternoon when we stopped in for a break. She is a true gem and was so sweet to our fur baby. She made the stay perfect. We will definitely keep this host and the property in mind for any future trips to the area!! I will admit that I was a little concerned about safety initially but never had a problem and Klotterwas low traffic.
My wife and I enjoyed the overnight stay at over-the-rhine. Nice view of Cincinnati from the balcony. Unit was equipped with everything we needed. Make sure you visit the rhinegeist brewery on elm st. You will not be disappointed.
This is the best rental for 2 people. Very clean, quite area. Beautiful views of Cincinnati. Full kitchen. Outside Deck with table. I enjoyed sitting and drinking my coffee every day. Almost an response for anything we needed from owner. I definitely will spread the word to family and friends.
Perfect spot for my husband & I to stay the night before we continued our road trip. The place is small but that’s all we needed, it was clean and we enjoyed the back deck. Communication with the owner was excellent. Would stay again.
I’ve stayed here multiple times on my drive from MI to TN and am never disappointed. If you have time to explore the neighborhood, there are many neat bars and restaurants popping up.
Benjamin and his cleaner Monica were responsive and friendly; the unit was spotless and had everything we needed; the location was close to the U and Findlay Market, and the street is charming. Would totally stay here again! Thank you!!
What a nice hidden gem. Nice clean apt. Bring ear plugs tho, the freezer made strange noises the whole night. Love the back deck area! We had a lovely dinner out there, listening to chick cores “my one and only love”. Would definitely stay here again.
Great, large studio with a very responsive host. Even had food and water dishes for our dog. Loved the little lizards everywhere outside. The EV charger was definitely very helpful.

Why they chose this property
I'm originally from Asheville, NC, but I fell in love with the architecture and walkable neighborhoods in Over-The-Rhine. This property is in my favorite area of Cincinnati. It's much safer than the rest of Over-The-Rhine because it's located on the quiet edge of Over-The-Rhine, but it's still very walkable to Findlay Market and with the free streetcar you can travel by foot to anywhere in Downtown Cincinnati. The best part about the property is the views. It's rare to find a spot with sweeping views of the city and is still walkable to anywhere in the city!
What makes this property unique
The property is uniquely located on a quiet hillside with dramatic views of the city, but is still walkable to Findlay Market. The free streetcar that can take you anywhere in Downtown Cincinnati.
