What a comfy place to stay! Not small, but not too big, either. Al was easy to contact with a couple questions and very helpful. So many things were already included/provided. Thanks for a great place to crash!
Great location. Main street was within walking distance. We booked a fishing charter and needed a place close to the marina. We could have walked from the house. Would stay again!
My family stayed here for a week. This was our favorite stay at sodus in 4 summers the location is great, this property is located next to just about everything you could want. The house was well stocked with everything you need.for a nice stay.
The location is perfect for a Sodus Bay getaway. A quick walk to pretty much anywhere, whether you want sun and sand or a drink on the waterfront. The home itself is very comfortable, and the host is first rate. I would highly recommend staying here.

Thank you, Jorge, for the kind words. You are welcome anytime!
this was the perfect home base for us for the week of our ladies trip. So close to Lake Ontario and the beach. In the heart of all the orchards and close to other locations. We were happy and loved the area!
We had a nice time at this vacation home. It is fairly centralized to the beach and town. It was nice having a downstairs bathroom. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us. The porch was nice as well. We experienced no problems so didn't need to contact the owner.
From the day i booked it the process was simple. I needed to add a night and the host changed my dates for me. The cottage was clean and in a relaxing neighborhood. I was provided contact information for the host if i needed anything during the stay. Will definitely rent property in the future.
Don’t want to say positive things as it is our third time there and want the opportunity to return next year. Conveniently located between town and the beach. Nicely stocked and clean. Responsive owner. Like that it is a laid back cottage and not an overpriced home. The house next door is also a VRBO so we coordinate with other families.
This was our second time renting this property. My kids love the location. Across the way there is a place to rent paddle boats, canoes, kayaks, bikes, and paddle boards. Very short walk to the beach. Two thumbs ups for families with teens! Also, there are four beds in the second bedroom for kids. I love going for early morning walks in the village. Our favorite place to stay.
Checkin was smooth, house was as described, had a little trouble figuring out one of the AC units but a quick text got straightened out.
I’ve been to so many beach rentals that aren’t up to snuff but Alfons really put in the effort to make sure everything was in working order and the house was ready for us. Look forward to renting from him again!
This cottage is located within walking distance to virtually anything one might need while away on a peaceful retreat. One block from the Lake; a quick walk to the local eateries and ice cream stand as well as the gas station/convenience store; quiet, pleasant neighborhood. We went for walks every day and enjoyed the small town charm. So many beautiful flower gardens! It's a reasonable drive to Rochester and its attractions, if that's your thing. If you're not familiar with Sodus Point, definitely do your homework first -- it's not a commercial/touristy location. If you have a boat you just might consider living here :) There is a lot of interesting local history, too. The wind was perfect for flying kites on the beach. The cottage itself has ample sleeping accommodations and the host made sure necessary supplies were readily available. Extra Bonus: loved watching the birds at the next door neighbor's birdhouses and feeders. Looking forward to our next stay here. Thanks.
