A very beautiful private property in an excellent location from where one can explore the best of Provence. The pool was just a magnificent place with a glorious view. Many places to sit around the house for a larger group.

Charming farmhouse in the countryside just a short walk from a lively, lovely village.

A lovely house where we could be together with our group. We enjoyed the nice pool, the beautiful weather and the beautiful surroundings.

This place is paradise in Provence. We spent 3 glorious weeks in July and early August and would gladly return at some point in the future. The temperatures were in the 90s (F) so the individual air conditioner units were critical. My grandchildren (ages 8, 10 and 12) would have quite happily spent the entire 3 weeks in the glorious swimming pool that was clean and well maintained. The host (Olivier) was very available and extremely responsive to our occasional requests. Similarly the local hostess (Farida) was delightful and available to give us generous time for all manner of questions regarding the property and local/regional guidance. Lourmarin, itself, is a beautiful, charming village that is within easy walking distance and full of great shops and restaurants and within an easy drive to all the beautiful hilltop villages of the Luberon. Unexpected highlight was the presence of a large, supermarket type store (Super U) with an amazing selection of food, wine, alcohol and household goods within a 7 minute drive from the property. Absolutely loved this wonderful home!

Fabulous location, house and gardens

We had a lovely relaxing time at this very impressive house, garden and pool. There was plenty of space and lots of great outdoor space to enjoy. The views were spectacular from the property. The house itself was much more impressive than the photos on the website. I would recommend, only a few very minor problems that could easily be sorted.

July 2025

Home and property were lovely. Check-in process with Farida, the property manager contact was easy. A couple of issues with plumbing came up (broken toilet, clogged bath drain) but Farida was highly responsive in trying to help. The location of the house was good for day trips throughout Provence/Avignon/Marseille/Cassis/Verdon. 15 minute walk to center of Lourmarin. Pool was a highlight.

Lovely few days in one of the Luberon’s best villages

We stayed 5 nights with our children and a few friends and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The highlight of the Villa is definitely it’s outside areas. The grounds and pool are gorgeous and we loved eating our meals under the huge tree. Inside, the Villa needs a bit of updating. Mattresses and sheets feel a bit tired, but otherwise the house is well stocked and has everything you need. We absolutely loved the local village of Lourmarin, which is walkable from the Villa. Gorgeous shops and restaurants - would definitely choose to stay in the area again.

Thank you for your back up. Mattresses and sheets feel were rather new (5 years for the mattresses and 2 years fort the sheets) but they were supposed to be updated before your arrival. Unfortunately, because the current procurement issues in France, it has been delayed. They all have been changed at the end of this week before the next guests arrival. Happy you enjoyed however your stay

A Wonderful Vacation

We were 8 adult family members and a small child, and to a person we absolutely loved our 14 nights in June stay in this home. The house and property were outstanding - beyond our expectations - and all of the people with whom we dealt, being our hosts, Michele and Olivier (who we did not meet in person), the housekeeper Farida, and the property maintainer, Olivier, were lovely. We very much hope to stay here again. The village of Lourmarin, less than1k away, is gorgeous - maybe the nicest we've seen through extensive travels in Europe. The home and village were an outstanding combination.

The property was impecable, the house a work of architectural mastery and the setting so close to Lourmarin village superb. Unfortunately the 12 days we were these broke all heat records for the Luberon region and southern France. In these circumstances our only remediable comment is that the level of service from the housekeeper was only available when some service or small repair (some bicycles not working; pool level reduction)was requested by us. In other words, while these issues were resolved with the property caretakers oince communicated, there was no active provision of information or inquiry as to how the visit was going. A principal example of this was the responsibility of the renters to sort and remove to a public refuse facility all trash or recyclables. Rather a challenging task that represented our observation that for a luxury property, the level of actively provided services could have been higher and more clearly stated.

Amazing retreat; perfect for multiple families

We had an amazing time here for one week in (hot, hot!) July. The house was immaculate, and the host and facilitators were excellent -- very responsive, extremely helpful with recommendations and support. The house is beautiful, with multiple "sections", ideal for multiple families staying together (we were grandparents (2) and 2 x mom/dad/two kids, plenty of space to lounge separately and hang out together. Amazing outdoor space, including a beautiful pool and several sitting areas. Thank you for an amazing stay!
