This bright, comfortable space has a penthouse-like feel with three large windows overlooking Chair 1 whisk away skiers and boarders. An easy three minute walk to and from the base, drop your skis by the ski locker and climb one set of stairs to this third floor unit that has a unique view of Purgatory Resort's classic ski and bike runs. This warm unit provides all the comforts to rest up in the mountains. Boot and glove dryer, access to hot tub, all the cozy linen for up to four guests is provided. The details have been well cared for by the owner including new Lazboy furniture, Sealy mattress, and nice kitchen amenities to recover after a long day on the slopes. Of course, practice of cleanliness procedures are current with CDC guidelines for infection control and app-enabled laundry is on site. The owner is responsive to your unique requests but this is a no smoking unit and pets are only allowed for stays lasting thirty days+. Come experience the San Juans or work from home in a unique mountain setting! Thank you!

Great location!

Just a short walk to lift! Very convenient and was great to take a short break or grab lunch in a comfortable place and get back on the slopes.Would definitely stay here again!

Wonderfully Comfortable

We (my daughter and I) had a wonderful stay in this cozy, comfy studio. It was the perfect size for us. Loved the homey feel and the completeness of the kitchen. Had everything we needed and then some! Property Manager was attentive and responded quickly when I reached out to her. Will definitely keep this location in mind when visiting Purgatory again.

Family ski trip

Room was clean and location was great. Room was well supplied. Biggest complaint is the parking lot. Plenty of room for parking but the walk to the lifts is a slippery one. That is the nature of winter in the mountains. I suggest grabbing gear from locker and cutting across to the road by the dumpster and walking through there and not the parking lot.

Phenomenal experience at a stunning location. Clean, safe, extremely friendly and responsive host.

We have nothing but wonderful things to say about our stay here. The room was very clean, Kathryn was extremely responsive and accommodating. For instance - she brought over fans to ensure we would be cool while working remotely from the room all day - we were very comfortable. She was very kind to allow us a late checkout, and she was very responsive. Highly recommend staying in this beautiful room - only 30 minutes from Durango and very close to Mesa Verde National Park. The mountains that surround this little ski area are stunning, everyone was extremely friendly. Did a beautiful hike right across the street during the weekend (Purgatory Trail) and there’s a gorgeous lake to walk around. Again, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here with no complaints and highly recommend - thank you Kathryn!

The place was great! Beautiful location, clean and tidy. Had everything you would ever need provided. Our only challenge was getting our luggage up the 4 half flight of steps. We didn't realize the location was on the 3rd floor. We are both over 65 & the altitude got to us. Highly recommend this place to stay year round.

Very nice

Very nice, spacious, had all the typical provisions of a condo: dishes, towels, etc. Could use my own streaming logins on smart TV (don't forget to logout when leaving). Nice views of mountains. Easy check-in and parking. This was my first Vrbo so I probably asked some dumb questions, but owner was very helpful.I didn't notice in the ad (my fault) that it is a climb up stairs (no elevator), and at 8500 ft elevation, was quite winded at first, and hard on older knees. Good exercise though!The bed is quite high, and my 5'5" wife had trouble getting up on it. We borrowed a step stool from friends & resolved.All-in-all, well worth it!

Presidents Day weekend ski trip

The property was just as described. Cozy, clean and convenient. Kaki was very helpful and waited to meet us so we could take her parking spot. We lucked out with great snow!

Holiday at Purgatory

The booking process, communication, and location for this property was excellent. The only thing I'll mention that could have made the stay better was the bed. It was not comfortable at all and I was longing for a better mattress after sleeping on it one night. If you can sleep anywhere, I highly recommend it! I'll probably need slightly better accommodations for our next visit to Purgatory.
