The apartments are equipped with all the important amenities to support a harmonious and comfortable stay. The apartments being very clean and bright, full of light and with outstanding views over the roofs of the old town, will quickly make you feel like home.

Got the bait and switch when I landed and was offered an alternative apartment with no explanation. I had already landed and was exhausted so I agreed. There was a welcome basket of molding fruit on the counter and the floor was so dirty that my feet were black from walking from the shower to the bed. Check-in, I couldn’t find the front door because the entry looked like a travel agency. Check-out, I was not given any instructions, so when the lock keeper wouldn’t open and I had to leave for my flight I had to leave the key hidden as best I could after reaching out to the host. Location was good, loud and bright but if you’re tired enough that shouldn’t matter.

2 Days in Zurich

The apartment is a very short walk from the train station. It was clean and safe. Getting the keys and checking in was easy. The manager came by and checked on us to make sure we were OK. There is a some street noise because you are right in the center of town which is to be expected. We would stay there again.

Terrible stay! Shower, Wifi, Dishwasher, Coffe machine all broken. Host extremely unfriendly.

Nightmare. If you want a pleasant stay in Zurich sleep somewhere else.

Hands off! We found a broken shower, and nespresso and dish washer. Internet settings were gone on top of this. Please dont come back!

A warning: Do not book this property.My family and I have used VRBO all over the world since 2008 and this was our worst experience.Check-in was scheduled for 2:00 p.m., but the key would not open the apartment door. The host sent an older man who said he was a friend. I was concerned because he struggled with the steep stairs. He tried the same key we had but could not open the door. A second friend later arrived and eventually got us in using that same key. Neither man was a locksmith nor arrived with tools/uniforms/ID. We waited outside with our luggage and did not gain access until after 4:00 p.m.The apartment required climbing several flights of steep, narrow stairs. I am in good physical condition and still found them difficult, especially with luggage. The shared laundry was in the basement.Most importantly, the apartment at No. 56 was not the one shown in the listing I booked months earlier. I had printed the listing photos, and they did not match the unit we entered. The host called this an “address correction” and said the replacement was better because it was not above the pub. Because the change happened on arrival day, it felt to me like a bait-and-switch. I requested original unit at No. 52, but it was never provided.Communication was slow and confusing. The area has many bars and adult-entertainment businesses. We left without staying a single night and booked another property. I still trust VRBO, but I cannot recommend this host or listing.

Thank you for your feedback. Several statements in this review are factually incorrect, including the apartment numbers. The key was working correctly and only needed to be inserted the other way around. We immediately arranged and paid for a licensed locksmith, who also could not reproduce the reported issue. Not inhabitable. Did not stay overnight for any of the 9 nights. Pursuing refund.

Above noisy and Smokey pub. No a/c. Not very clean. Bed not usable.
