Gite Vert, Four Stars Independent Apartment in an ancient Manor


The Domaine de Granit includes several cottages, a detached house, "La Source," and other apartment cottages in the Buffet manor house where the owners reside, "Le Granit," a magnificent residence dating from the early 20th century. The Domaine de Granit includes a 1.6-hectare park, open to tenants. The Buffet residence, described as a "building of remarkable architecture," was built between 1900 and 1903 by Marie Louis Buffet, an engineer working in the Geliot factories near the manor.
The residence is nestled within a one-and-a-half-hectare estate protected by a perimeter wall.


We offer a spacious, newly renovated 120 m² apartment on the second floor of Le Granit.

The cottage can accommodate 3 to 6/7 people.
You will have 3 large, independent bedrooms, the first two with double beds and the last one with 3 single beds. The bathroom has a sink, bathtub, and a combined washer-dryer. There are 2 separate toilets. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, dishwasher, and small appliances. The adjoining living room and lounge area have a television, stereo system, and free Wi-Fi (not unlimited).

Heating is provided by an environmentally friendly wood chip boiler. Electricity and water are included in the price, subject to reasonable usage (as defined in the rental agreement):

Beyond this: 0.17€/kWh will be charged extra

End-of-stay cleaning is provided for a mandatory fee of 90€ to ensure the comfort of subsequent guests.

The cottage is non-smoking, and pets are not allowed.

Practical services: Bed linen and towels are not included in the rental rate. These services can be provided, upon request, by our Concierge Service. Please do not hesitate to contact us for any information.

Très bon weekend en amoureux

Les propriétaires ainsi que les personnes qui s'occupent de l'hébergement sont très réactifs et arrangeants. Nous avons été très bien accueilli dans des lieux nouvellement rénovés. Super vu depuis l'appartement, nous avons pu profiter de la cour ensoleillée pour faire un barbecue avec du bois ramassé en forêt. Séjour idéal, encore merci !

schöner Kurzurlaub

Wir hatten einen entspannten Kurzurlaub in Plainfaing. Die Wohnung ist sehr groß und somit perfekt für zwei Familien mit Kleinkindern. Wir wohnten in dieser Zeit alleine im Haus und mussten uns deshalb keine Sorgen über zu lautes Kindergetrampel machen ;) Ein paar Artikel, wie z.B. Handseife, Klopapier, Spülmaschinentabs hätten ausreichender vorhanden sein können, aber wir haben diese Sachen dann einfach selbst nachgekauft. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und man hat einen wunderschönen Blick über den Ort. Vor dem Haus gibt es Tische und Bänke zum gemütlich draußen Sitzen und die Kinder hatten viel Platz zum Spielen. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen und finden das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis echt top! Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Wochenendausflug mit Freunden

Die Wohnung ist sehr schön groß, sauber und gepflegt. Die Frau mit der ich geschrieben habe war sehr bemüht. Leider gab es Kommunikationsschwierigkeiten, da lediglich Fronzösisch gesprochen bzw kommuniziert wurde. Des weiteren steht auf der Internetseite Bettwäsche und Handtücher vorhanden. Leider ist dem nicht so und wir mussten 15 Euro p.P dafür extra bezahlen. Es gab weder Geschirrhandtücher noch Spülmaschienen-Tabs. Auch vom Toilettenpapier gab es lediglich eine halbe Rolle. Kenne ich von Ferienwohnungen anders. Die Gegend ist schön. Bis auf die Kleinigkeiten zu empfehlen.

Prima verblijf met veel activiteiten in de omgeving

Mooi en ruim appartement op de tweede etage. Alle benodigdheden zijn aanwezig. Jammer dat er geen voorzieningen zijn in de grote tuin en het terras. Geen stoelen, banken, tafel of speelgelegenheid voor de kinderen. Skigebied ligt op 15 minuten rijden en is echt een aanrader In het dorp is helaas niet veel te beleven.

Beau logement mais literie peu confortable

Positif: Spacieux, lumineux, bien équipé, beau bâtiment, belle vue (/!/ 3 eme étage) Négatif : Literie pas terrible, pas d'endroit où déposer les poubelles (il y a des instructions mais elles semblent erronées), procédure d'entrée/sortie lourde, limite d'électricité trop juste étant donné que l'utilisation du chauffage électrique est indispensable dans la sdb (une purge des radiateurs ne ferait pas de mal)
