Imagine your stay in our villa "La cabane" in Bohemian chic and welcoming style, located in a natural and preserved setting, on the edge of the Óbidos lagoon... Every day, admire the magnificent spectacle that the mouth of the lagoon has in store for you... Imagine starting your day by having lunch on the terrace facing the lagoon with the purring of the ocean... then taking a walk on the paths along the lagoon...
Very quickly you will understand why it is good to stay at the Óbidos lagoa.

THE SITUATION
- Ideally located the villa is 15 minutes by car from Óbidos... 1 hour from Lisbon and 2H30 from Porto... very close to Peniche (boat to the island of Berlengas), Baléal (surf spots), Nazaré (world famous for its giant waves), São Martinho..., Alcobaça..., Fátima..., Aveiro (Portuguese Venice)..., Arouka (the longest suspension bridge in the world), Setùbal (dolphin colonies) ...

- Perfect for a large family or a holiday with friends...
"La Cabane" and the environment lend themselves to families with children... you will have the choice of swimming in the pool or in the salt water lagoon) protecting from the tumult of the ocean (15min walk by coastal path and less than 5 min by car).

- Sports enthusiasts will find what they are looking for... The lagoon allows the practice of a multitude of activities, such as windsurfing, kite surfing, canoeing, fishing or shellfish gathering...
There are many paths around the lagoon to walk, run or cycle. For golf enthusiasts, you will find 3 incredible golf courses, the Bom Sucesso complex, Royal Óbidos and Praia Del Rei (5 minutes by car).
For beginners or experienced surfers, you will appreciate the city of Peniche, with its world-famous beaches (20 min by car): Super tubos, Baléal.
Baléal offers surf schools for beginners, equipment rental, etc.
Yogis will also find what they are looking for... Baléal is lively in high season: brasserie with live entertainment. In Peniche you will find the departure point for boat trips to the island of Berlenga.

Next to "La Cabane", the small picturesque district of LAPINHA, leads to the coastal path that will take you to the mouth of the ocean. (you can get there by car in less than 3min). There are restaurants and brasseries... You can eat at any time of the day facing the Lagoon, taste Portuguese culinary specialities..., take your takeaway..., buy your fresh bread and pastries....


TRAVELER ACCESS
By plane, land in Lisbon, then 45min by car.
Landing from Porto you will have about 2h30 by car.
You will need to rent a car to enjoy the area at the airport or in Caldas da Rainha (town 20min drive from "La Cabane")
A bus runs from the centre of Lisbon to Óbidos. You can also take a taxi.


THE ACCOMMODATION

"La Cabane" is a villa of 230 m2,
4 bedrooms, including a master suite with balcony,
Sleeps 8, 4 double beds 160 x 200
3 bathrooms:
1 Ground floor shower room, 1 independent bathroom, and 1 bathroom in the master suite.
Family area: large living room opening onto the pool, with sofa, coffee table, TV area with 2 daybeds, TV with USB socket, DVD player.
Air hockey table
Kitchen equipped with fridge, freezer, hob, extractor, oven, microwave oven, toaster, coffee machine, Dolce Gusto pod machine, juicer, waffle iron, washing machine, dining table.
Outside: Dining area with barbecue, pool area with deckchairs, beach return area for rinsing nautical equipment and drying wetsuits.

The Villa offers a minimum service: provision of bed linen and towels, beds made on arrival and end-of-stay cleaning taken care of. Namely, fabric mattress pads and pillowcases are changed for each new rental. I stay in touch using a mobile phone or WhatsApp whenever possible. If needed Paula will be there.
