Welcome to your Tahoe summer basecamp.
Whether you're spending the day on the lake, paddling along the shoreline, biking to dinner, or gathering with family and friends beneath the pines, our home offers the perfect blend of Tahoe adventure, relaxation, and comfort.
Enjoy filtered lake views from the upper deck and throughout the home while being just minutes from beaches, restaurants, boat launches, and North Tahoe's best outdoor activities.
To help you enjoy Tahoe like a local, we offer complimentary recreational gear including two inflatable stand-up paddleboards, two bikes, two beach chairs, and two coolers. Simply let us know 1-2 weeks before arrival if you'd like us to have these items ready for your stay.
Bringing a boat? The nearest public boat launch is just 1.5 miles away, and our oversized driveway provides ample room for up to five vehicles plus a boat or snowmobile trailer.
After a day outdoors, unwind in our private outdoor entertaining space featuring a SynLawn lounge area backing to National Forest land, an outdoor dining table and bar, Weber gas grill, and lighted umbrellas. It's the perfect spot for morning coffee, afternoon happy hour, family meals, or evening gatherings under the stars.
Why Guests Love Staying Here
Our home isn't a professionally furnished vacation rental - it's our family's Tahoe home. From the well-stocked kitchen and comfortable beds to the outdoor lounge and beach gear, we've tried to create the kind of place where family and friends naturally gather, relax, and make lasting memories.
Inside, you'll find a comfortable mountain retreat with authentic Tahoe charm and personal touches inspired by our Irish and New England roots, giving the home a warmth and personality that's uniquely its own.
Our home features a cozy wood-burning stove, two separate living rooms, two large flat-screen TVs with DirecTV, TiVo, and Chromecast, a great stereo sound system, high-speed Wi-Fi, and our signature "Team Leisure" motorized disco ball for a little extra fun after the sun goes down.

Location
Our home is conveniently located in Carnelian Bay along North Lake Boulevard, offering easy access to many of North Lake Tahoe's most popular attractions.
Waterman's Landing Beach and Café are located approximately half a mile away.
While some guests enjoy biking or walking there during the summer, portions of North Lake Boulevard do not have a dedicated sidewalk. If you're traveling with young children or carrying paddleboards, coolers, or other beach gear, we generally recommend driving.
Additional public beaches, parks, playgrounds, and recreation areas in Tahoe Vista and Kings Beach are only about 1.5 miles away.

Other Details to Note
Like most homes in Lake Tahoe, our home does not have air conditioning due to the mild mountain climate. Several fans are provided for the occasional warm summer day.
Please keep in mind that California can experience wildfires, smoke, winter storms, road closures, and occasional power outages. These natural events are outside of our control, and we are unable to offer refunds or credits for weather-related impacts. If you're concerned about these possibilities, we recommend purchasing travel insurance or booking closer to your travel dates.
We truly want you to have a wonderful Tahoe experience and are always happy to answer any questions before you book.
Please note: Some older photos and guest reviews mention a hot tub. It is currently unavailable while we prepare for a new replacement planned for Fall/Winter 2026-27.
