Pretty little house in wood and stone restored with ecological materials, our cottage, which once housed sheep and a henhouse, is located on the Causse at the end of a small road that leads only to it and to our house. We will be your only neighbors on a 4 hectare plot of land.
We are producers of saffron from Quercy (@safran_de_camboulan, on Instagram). In addition, we also cultivate a vegetable garden and an orchard. We have a pony, a cat and chickens.
There is a large garden with a table, armchairs, a children's set and a trampoline. The cottage consists on the ground floor of an entrance, a dining area, an equipped kitchen, a living room and a bathroom with toilet and walk-in shower. From the living room, a staircase leads to a bedroom (2 beds 90) and from the dining area, another staircase leads to a small mezzanine with a bed 140. Due to its configuration, the cottage is not suitable for people with reduced mobility. For optimal peace, the cottage is not equipped with television or wifi. However, in case of necessity, the cottage is covered by mobile networks and 4G.
From the cottage you can go for many walks or bike rides. Other nature activities are possible nearby: canoeing (on the Lot or the Célé), caving, horse riding... You will find municipal swimming pools within a radius of 20km but you can also swim in the nearby Lot. The region is magnificent and full of tourist sites: villages (Rocamadour, Saint Cirq Lapopie, Najac, Marcilhac sur Célé ...), castles (Cènevière, Larroque Toirac, Bournazel ...) caves ( Foissac, Pech-Merle in Cabreret, Gouffre de Padirac... museums (Champollion museum in Figeac, Jean Marie Perrier photo museum in Villeneuve, Soulage museum in Rodez ...) ... The many weekly markets as well as the gourmet markets will make you discover the local specialities: aligot, truffade, farçous, Cahors wines, Marcillac, saffron! You can park your vehicle about thirty metres from the cottage, however to load or unload it, it is possible to get closer to it.
