Take advantage of all the amenities that Detroit Lakes has to offer by staying in this beautifully furnished vacation rental. It's a perfect place for a family vacation get-away or a gathering of friends. It comfortably sleeps up to 10 people with 2 queen beds and one full sized bed up stairs and 2 twin beds (trundle bed) and 2 air mattresses down stairs (perfect for kids) and two full bathrooms. Kids will have a great time playing in the big yard. The large fire pit is perfect for evening bon fires. Big Detroit Lake is right across the street. Inquire about nearby beaches and boat rentals. Fireside Steakhouse is also across the street and several great restaurants are within a short drive.

I have survived many things including breast cancer and I believe in living each day that the Lord gives me to the fullest and doing life with those I love.

Professionally I run an events company that manages corporate events. I have owned and managed several rental properties and VRBO's over the years.

I love my family. I love to travel. I love great food and expensive coffee and red wine. I love to see new places, wander around quaint shoppes and try new things. I have amazing friends and beautiful and talented kids and grand kids.

Buying The Northstar Haven was a return to my northern/mid-west roots and a return to family. I'm excited to share it with you and I hope you feel love, joy and peace while you are here and make many amazing memories with friends and family.

Why they chose this property

You will love staying here because of it's perfect location in a quaint resort town and because this place offers all the comforts of home away from home. My great Auntie used to always say, "You can't be fussy when you're camping!" Well, there's nothing to fuss about here! This is MN camping at its best. And if there's anything you find that's not up to par, please let me know how I can fix it.
