Quiet, lots of nature and wildlife, stunning views of the mountains, great place to make good memories with close friends! And so easy to visit Lead and Deadwood from here every day!
We all loved the cabin. Very clean, and spacious for our group of 11. A few of us got up early every morning to watch the beautiful sunrise and were always greeted by a group of about 7-8 deer and several wild Turkeys right off the deck. We will definitely stay there again.

Make sure to read through the rules list about the use of firewood with the fireplace.
We loved our stay here. Overall the cabin is very nice. It’s clean and well maintained. Was fun relaxing on the deck and in the hot tub. The grill and the hot tub looked brand new. The drive to the cabin is definitely confusing the first time but you get use to it. Close enough to lead and deadwood to get supplies if need be.
The cabin was perfect for our family Christmas! Everyone had a bed to sleep in, and a bathroom on every floor worked great! We cooked all our meals at the cabin! Spent one day skiing, the ski lodge was packed so we had to be there in line at 7:30 but the kids loved skiing and was nice to be close to the cabin! Fun family time!
The road to house is terrible!! After getting there the house is good. Nothing fancy but nice full house with lots of things to use. Good stay but will look for better location next time.
We booked this property to hold our family Christmas. It was perfect for our family of 15. The game room was great for the teens to hangout in. The adults loved the views and the fireplace. The room with a loft was a hit with our grandkids. Pleanty of room. Lots of bathrooms. On site laundry! Great place!

I recently stayed at this VRBO and can’t recommend it enough. If you're looking for a quiet escape surrounded by stunning natural beauty, this place delivers in every way. The scenery was breathtaking—each morning felt like waking up in a painting. Whether it was sipping coffee on the porch or watching the sun dip below the horizon, every moment was peaceful and grounding. The atmosphere was calm and serene, making it perfect for recharging. It’s ideal for anyone seeking solitude or just a slower pace. I left feeling refreshed and incredibly grateful for the experience.

The property was as described! Everything was as clean as expected. The ladder to the loft bed in the one upstairs bedroom is a bit rickety. Definitely built more for kids than adults! Overall the house was wonderful for our family get away. There was 14 of us ranging in age from 2 to 70. It is pretty remote from anything which we all enjoyed. Do follow the instructions to get to the house. Just like the owner states in your stay information email, Google and Apple Maps really don’t know what is a drivable road vs an ATV or dirt bike road!
We had a couple things break while we were there from just normal wear and tear (toilet seat bolts/snaps and a crockpot). We informed the owner via the email they give you to contact them and in less than 24 hours they were both addressed! We were all very grateful and impressed with the immediate remedy to the issues.
The sunrises were just wonderful and the evenings on the deck delightful. Overall we would stay here again if we decide to visit this area again.

Good location
Good location, nice view but needs some maintenance done to the place.
Our stay was fabulous. Very interesting to get to through the mining area but the house and the views were AWESOME. Anne was awesome and was so prompt with answers to my questions. Would highly recommend it.
This place is awesome if your on the fence about renting it climb over you won’t be disappointed
This place was awesome! Our family and friends had an amazing time. There is plenty of room to spread out if needed. The main gathering/kitchen are large enough to accommodate without being cramped. Many wonderful memories were made here on our stay!

Great stay.
Great house, further from Deadwood than we expected. It took 30-40mins to drive back and forth, beds were very uncomfortable. The views were gorgeous! The house was great.
24 of us stayed here and another adjacent cabin in area for 3 nights. Definitely as advertised. It was a great facility for our group to gather and enjoy company and convenient to a couple days skiing for most of us at Terry Peak.
Wonderful time had by all! The property is absolutely beautiful. Loved seeing the deer everyday. This property was well stocked with large pots and pans, an electric griddle for pancakes, a crockpot, muffin pans, everything we needed very appreciated (could use a larger strainer). Tons of spices (we brought our own but there were lots available including a spice rack). Property was clean with Plenty of cleaning supplies. Perfect for our large family, we definitely will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Aspen Red Lodge. The description and pictures were as indicated in the VRBO directory. The cabin had plenty of room for our group. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals and snacks. The bedrooms were spacious enough and comfortable for a restful night of sleep. We all loved the hot tub and the large deck with plenty of seating area.
We had a wonderful time! The kids enjoyed the spacious basement to run around and play. The grown ups enjoyed the huge deck to sit around and chat. Just enough furniture to gather together but spacious enough not to overwhelm.
Love the size of the house, it provides plenty of space for a large family. The downstairs bedroom is the only one with a TV in it. Some of the furniture is well worn but still comfortable. No ice machine in kitchen fridge. It has an extra fridge down the basement for refreshments. If a hot tub is important, this home has one but I question the cleanliness. Overall a great home base for Black Hill adventures.

Thanks for the review, Renee. We're glad you enjoyed the space. The hot tub is serviced before and after each stay however it is on well water that doesn't go through the house filter so it can look a little cloudy straight from the hose. The hot tub filter usually helps clear it up with each use of the jets. Thanks again for staying!
