The space
The extensive renovations of this circa 1930s home, just completed in March 2020, are a nod to styles of the era. The NC-Preservation-approved contractor made conscious and strategic choices in keeping with the styles, trends, and availability of materials during this time period. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, washer & dryer as well as basic dishes, flatware, coffee maker, and gadgets. Dining space is provided in the kitchen around the peninsula, which is an original feature of the home. Granite countertops have been added to provide a more up-to-date feeling. Bedrooms are furnished with comfy sheets, cozy comforters, fluffy pillows, and luxurious towels. In addition, each bedroom has a wall-mounted, smart TV. The full bathroom has a tub and shower. A smart TV is provided in the den along with comfortable seating for a great place for travelers to relax.
