This was our first time in Barcelona and this villa made our stay very comfortable . The villa was amazing and had all of the necessities that we need to cook and have a great time . The communication for check in process and any issues or questions we had was answered in a timely manner . My family had a blast at this location and we will definitely book this location again but for a longer stay. Thanks

It is very spacious and can accommodate a big group very comfortably. The views are spectacular and the swimming pool was by great. Unfortunately, finding that there is absolutely nothing included with the property was a bit surprising and disappointing as every place we have ever rented has had basics like coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, cooking oil, etc. We already had to pay an extra fee for bed linens and towels, were told if we wanted to check in any earlier than 5pm we would have to pay 20 each hour, and the rental itself was not cheap, so we did expect to have some basics included. Also, we were a bit scared to make any noise as there are signs every where for quiet time after 10pm, and absolutely no music devices in home or at the pool at all, which made the children sad as they wanted to listen to some music while they played in the pool. The garbage rules were very strict and a bit confusing as well, and an additional fee will be charged if you get it wrong so that also made the stay a bit stressful. The owners live downstairs so you do feel a bit like you are being watched at all times so we just tried very hard to follow all the rules and were a bit worried about making mistakes so we were never really ever able to relax. The owners add chlorine to the pool at night and we did have to hose down the pool deck a couple of times so the kids didn’t get burns on their feet. The chlorine in the pool turned everyone’s bathing suits yellow as well.

Hello Sophia. We are sorry to hear that your stay was less than perfect. We provide a starter pack for our guests which includes some dish soap, laundry detergent, dishwasher tablet, etc. For hygiene reasons, we do not leave any type of condiments. And yes, the laws are strict for the tranquility of the neighbours in the area, that there cannot be exterior noise after 22h in the evenings, but a reasonable level of music during the day is not an issue. With each pool maintenance the levels of chlorine and PH are checked but depending on the fabric type of the swimsuits, the chlorine in the pool can react and cause yellowing.

Great family location

We had a family gathering, with family from the UK and South Africa. This was the first time we were all together in 14 years (12 people), so expectations were high. The villa was great. Enough space for us all to be together and enough space for us to be in different places when we wanted to do different things. The BBQ was great for cooking dinner for everyone in the evenings. Bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for our needs. Only negatives for us were that the kitchen can do with being better stocked for a party of 12. We were constantly struggling to find an out dishes for the food we were cooking, and for the first couple of days we only had one knife and many forks. (This was sorted when we mentioned it to management.) The pool is a great size and has a shower and bathroom, so no need to go back to the house all the time. Fab property and great location, 20mins to great beaches.

Mix of business and pleasure

We had a few vacation days prior to a business event and this place was perfect for the event. The house and amenities were awesome. If you are from the US be sure to read the information on how to checkin, use the appliances, and be sure what is supplied (this is a much different culture of hospitality). Being used to fully stocked rentals are much different in other countries. Be sure that towels and linens are onsite or available. Learning the appliances without the manuals was somewhat difficult, not to mention purchasing everything wanted to cook including salt, pepper, and oil are nice things to know in advance. Without knowing about pre downloading our information for the checkin process to get the address left us in the country without an address but the hosts were phenomenal and made things happen until we were taken care of. Do your part before coming to a new country - I know I will take a little more time next year prior to clicking submit purchase and thinking im done. havwhat is

Hi Crystal. Thanks for your comments and we are so pleased you enjoyed your stay! We like to think that hospitality is the same throughout the world, but I understand that you didn't know how to work the induction hob. We wish we would have known as we could have explained that it's necessary to have a pot/pan on the burner before it will work. Salt and pepper are always supplied, along with other spices but oils for sanitary purposes we do not leave. Once the booking is confirmed, the villa address is sent to you (along with a google map link) and you also have a digital guest area with all the information. The address is sent again with your villa arrival details and we are available 24 hours per day for any concerns or messages you may have. We look forward to welcoming you again!

Beautiful

Just returned from a wonderful holiday in Torrelles, such a lovely picturesque village and our holiday was made complete by our stay in this beautiful Villa. Everything was perfect, I emailed Catalunya Casas, on several occasions prior to our visit and his response was always very quick, helpful and really very kind. The host very patient, helpful and kind with all the numerous questions we had to ask! We had a truly memorable holiday, in a perfect place and would definitely return again sometime.

The Catalonian Paradise!!!

wowwwwww!!! the beautiful paradise in Torrelles. It was a peak season, thanks to my friend Susain who had booked it 4 months earlier, otherwise we could miss such a nice villa. It has vibrant colored alluring bedrooms and provides great living space to enjoy your get together. We are planning another holiday for next year, this time with a large group. I hope that Catalunya Casas would provide us again such an amazing villa accommodating more number of people.

Spectacular view!

Overall we really liked this villa and would stay again. What we liked: - We've stayed in 6 or more villas in Spain and this had the very best outside space providing great areas for eating, sitting and sunbathing all day by the pool. - Absolutely in the centre of Torrelles but still quiet during the day and at night. - WiFi throughout the property. - Very clean with regular maid and pool service. We wouldn't recommend this property for small children. There are too many stairs, steps etc but for an older family it would be brilliant. The layout is a bit unusual but that reflects the pleasure of staying in someone's family home rather than a standard holiday villa.
