Three Rivers is home to this holiday home. General Sherman Tree is a notable landmark, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Sequoia National Forest and Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Our Place Playground and Bravo Lake Botanical Garden are also worth visiting.
Great property! Lived the decor, all the blue jay items…especially the blue jay puzzle. The snacks were great! We lived the comfy, cozy couches in great room. Such nice bathrooms and laundry! So glad we chose it!
This property was the perfect location for visiting the Sequoia National Park. It was clean, well stocked, and extremely quiet and peaceful. We highly recommend this property!
Literally a few miles from the foothills Visitor Center of Sequoia National Park. Park yard wild oasis. We loved sitting outside early in the morning and listening to the birds. Evenings were nice too.
Three couples stayed one night on our way into Sequoia. Would have gladly stayed longer here except our travel plans kept us on the road.
Excelent communication from Mark.
This house is the perfect location for a visit to Sequoia National Park. There is also a great hiking trail within the neighborhood. Thoroughly enjoyed dinners on the patio. Saw wild turkeys and deer right off the patio. Would definitely stay here again.
There was a welcome package. The house was clean. The property was as promised. Everything went smoothly, and the host was amazing. Must stay here if you’re going to Sequoia.. just what we thought it was gonna be.
The Blue Jay was the perfect landing pad for our family's June trip to Sequoia. The place was very clean, super well-equipped, comfortably furnished, and so peaceful! We loved watching the quail and squirrel families in the backyard. The house is nice and close to the Park entrance and the cute town of Three Rivers (we loved Tony's Taverna on Wheels!). To top all that off, Mark is the best host we've ever had at a vacation rental. Extremely communicative, responsive, helpful, and kind. Overall, a wonderful experience from start to finish!
My family and I stayed for only one night after visiting the park. Mark provided us with step by step directions in case that GPS failed (which it did). We were able to find the place with ease and enjoyed stepping into a home that was exceptionally well cleaned and welcoming. Although our stay was short, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in a very warm, cozy, and welcoming space. Thank you!!! We will return and hope to stay for much longer!
The house was clean, stocked with basics, also had snacks and a bottle of wine for us!
The living area was great to watch movies with my family. There were 2 bathrooms, which made it easier for us to all get ready.
There were deer and California Bluebirds that were on the property, especially in the am.
The stars at night were so visible due to not a lot of street lights.
We loved our stay at this house!
The property was very clean and comfortable. Mark was very thoughtful to text me on the day of checkin to make sure I copied down the instructions. Mobile network was a problem, which he warned me in advance, so we came prepared. The recommendation to hike to salt creek was the best. My family enjoyed the walk and kids had fun in the nice little creek. The property is in a perfect location to drive up the mountain to see the giant groove. Overall it was a beautiful and a pleasant stay.
Traveled from Sarasota, FL for a family vacation to Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon. Stayed at the Blue Jay and had an enjoyable experience. The Blue Jay was in an excellent location, only a 15 minute drive, to the entrance of the park. Mark was very responsive when we requested extra supplies as well as instructions to check in. The house/property was well maintained and in a quiet neighborhood. We had plenty of towels and the kitchen was well stocked. We were also provided with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in each bathroom. The beds and pillows were so comfortable! This was greatly appreciated after long days of hiking. Thank you for making our vacation amazing!
Our only difficulty was the street sign name change was a bit confusing, especially arriving after dark because there are no lights at the cross road exchange. Next time we know to bring more groceries as we didn't see any places to shop for them nearby. But the house had everything we needed except: more blankets, we wanted to get cozy on the couch will watching TV & didn't want to keep turning the heater up & couldn't use the fire place. Also, an Air Fryer would be useful for faster meal preparation.

Thanks Dana for your interesting input. The Oak Dr. Road signage has been the same forever (no change) and my directions are very clear. Sorry you had a problem finding the 'Jay'.
Yes, there are no streetlights in or neck of the woods at all. That's one of the main things that our guests like about being here in the country!
An air fryer, no comment :)
Best regards, Mark
