Cozy cottage in the middle of Bishop Arts, one of the trendiest neighborhoods in Dallas. It is walking distance to amazing shops, restaurants, bars, and even a vegan grocery store! Walking distance to the free street car to downtown. Filled with luxurious Cantoni furniture, brand new beds, and all the comforts of home. The house has been completely remodeled and is close to the Convention center, downtown, the Kessler theater, and many more attractions! Ideal for a Dallas getaway!

We were incredibly happy with the property. Perfect sized rooms and living space. We were in town for the weekend for a Halloween event at the Texas Theater and it was short walk to and from the Blue House. We were very pleased to find a wide variety of restaurants and shops were roughly a block away. Would definitely stay here again.

Always a pleasure

We visit the Bishop Arts/Oak Cliff area often and search out properties hosted by Monty. They are always clean, beautiful and well equipped and the location is perfect for visiting Bishop Arts, a vibrant community with great restaurants. We plan to return again soon and would recommend their homes to anyone.

Home Away from Home

My teenage daughter and I have stayed at Monty & Katrina's properties for several years during our weekend visits. Their places have been "home" to us. The Blue Heron is comfortable and conveniently located to so much to do in the Bishop Arts District. As my daughter goes off to college, we will cherish the times we've stayed here. I hope you, your friends, and family do so as well!

Walkable location on the edge of Bishop Arts

We booked this property at the last moment after being dissatisfied with another property that was completely filthy. The owners of the blue house were so accommodating and even let us check in early the morning of our arrival! The house was clean and had just what we needed. We were able to walk to restaurants and coffee shops in the Bishop Arts neighborhood. The owners have a yellow house and a purple house next door - I’d stay in any of these based on my experience with them. They were communicative and checked in on us to see if everything was ok with the house and our stay. I’d recommend!
