In 2021, we transformed this former store into a fully renovated loft, blending a cosy and modern style.
The vintage cement tiles, the wooden mezzanine, the 6m x 3m glass roof, and the intricate woodwork give the space an exceptional and unique character in the area.
Access to the mezzanine via a spiral staircase with handrails will give you the feeling of ascending to a nest-like retreat for the night.
The ground floor space is optimised and features a living/dining area and a fully equipped open kitchen. Both spaces are bathed in light thanks to skylights (glass roofs, floor-to-ceiling windows, and Velux windows). The kitchen and living room open onto a small outdoor patio, screened off from the neighbouring terrace (which we also rent) by a screen and furnished with a table, chairs, and a BBQ. This space will allow you to enjoy the beautiful sunshine before returning to the loft for more privacy and tranquility.
You have exclusive access to a storage room equipped with a washing machine and dryer. If needed, you can store kayaks, bicycles, or other holiday gear there.
The entire loft is reserved exclusively for guests.
The patio is separated from the neighbouring terrace (of the house we rent out) by a screen.
The storage shed is also accessible to guests of the house, and the dryer is shared between the two rentals.
A private concierge service, based in the area, available, and extremely responsive, will welcome you and assist with any requests you may have during your stay.
You’ll receive their contact information shortly before your arrival. You’ll have access to various services (such as a fully stocked fridge upon arrival, ordering a seafood platter, etc.).
Access to the mezzanine via a narrow staircase makes this rental unsuitable for elderly guests, guests with limited mobility, or young children.
A lively little town during the summer months, you’ll find amenities such as a pharmacy, a market every Friday, a convenience store, a newsstand, bars and restaurants, and bike rentals just a few minutes’ walk away.
You can explore the surrounding countryside by car; parking is relatively easy at most sites.
Bicycling is a favourite mode of transport for many holidaymakers in the area.
A bus network—with a stop just one minute from the accommodation—serves the main towns in northern Finistère.
